Re: Half-Life 2: Episode Three
So? I've not seen one reliable source that confirms a console release, you'd be making assumptions, assumptions have no place on Wikipedia. Rehevkor ✉ 12:48, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- So? I've not seen one reliable source that confirms God exists. You'd be making assumptions, assumptions have no place on Wikipedia. Bit of a faulty analogy, but I can't think of anything better right now. --Thejadefalcon (talk) 13:00, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

- Alrighty then. Go find once place on Wikipedia that says God undoubtedly exists. Verifiability is one of the most important factors on Wikipedia. If you want to challenge that and claim it's a faulty analogy then you can do so here. HAND. Rehevkor ✉ 13:12, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- Weird. The article on 'God' is blocked here. That's just bizarre. Anyway, does this count for Episode Three? ... How do you use citations?

Re: Half-Life 2: Episode Three
No matter how obvious something may seem, all content on Wikipedia must be backed by reliable sources. There is no defined threshold at which content can be included without such sourcing. Oh, and I'd appreciate you not calling my edits "insane", TYVM. Haipa Doragon (talk • contributions) 13:53, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, kept forgetting to reply to this. So, basically, you're saying that everything, no matter how obvious it may seem, needs a citation. Say I was to make an article on Generic First-Person Shooter 3. If no review of GFPS3 specifically states that it's an FPS, I can't put that on Wikipedia as a genre? --Thejadefalcon (talk) 11:06, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Re: Portal Talk Page Deletion
It's all right to delete general discussions, as the talk page is for discussing the article itself only. It's not black and white that's general discussion and what's not, but bringing up personal theories and connections about the game certainly is. See WP:TALK and Wikipedia:NOTAFORUM#FORUM specifically. Rehevkor ✉ 16:58, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Kotaku Reliability
"I thought Kotaku was regarded as unreliable?" It's sourced quite a bit on video game pages and it always has good sources...not to mention that they point out their [rare] mistakes. I'd say they're pretty reliable :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.199.45.122 (talk) 03:09, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
MOSNUM
No problem. The rules are a little more nuanced than I presented: numbers greater than nine can be written as numerals or spelled out if it takes no more than two words (e.g., "one thousand" is fine, but not "one thousand two hundred"). If a MOSNUM breach is the worst that you have to worry about on Wikipedia, you're in pretty good shape. :) I'm a notoriously bad typist, and random editors get to find my silly mistakes. —TKD [talk][c] 12:08, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Mass Effect 2
Hi there. Not wanting to be a dick here, but reverting a legitimate (reliable etc) source just because it wasn't formatted that well isn't really a justifiable reason. I'll fix it, but it's something you should take into consideration in the future. I also don't know what you mean about Eurogamer being blocked, it loads fine for me. Thanks! Fin©™ 11:31, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- K, no problem. Again, just be wary of reverting reliable sources because of minor issuing like formatting. Thanks though! =) Fin©™ 11:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, it was an error on EA's part, the advert went out without approval, Eurogamer've pulled the story now. I was hoping you wouldn't notice ;) Thanks! Fin©™ 14:41, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

- OMG, YES! I only just realised this morning that I was making such a big change that I could possibly find myself with my first barnstar coming in. Thank you so much. *hugs* --Thejadefalcon (talk) 13:04, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- Damnn nice work yo' crazy foo'. Heehee :) It was a BIG edit, now I'll give you one if you do a good edit on the Mass Effect (series) article, I really wish to stave of the an AFD. See ya 'The Ninjalemming' 13:18, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I am a crazy fool. I hate the bloody game. Thank god I managed to get all the information I needed from it though. The moment I finished playing to test something with the archer, I swapped over the disc to Red Heat. Much breakage of the Xbox ensued with an "E 74" error. *sobs* If I can think of anything for the Mass Effect series article, I'll do it, but right now, my creativity is dead. Besides, it looks like it's going to be a keeper anyway. --Thejadefalcon (talk) 13:44, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

The start of Mass Effect stuff and TimeSplitters, as well as other tomfoolery
- No, some one repeatedly typing asda in an edit summary does not look like a good faith edit. But this edit on the other hand looks like there could be another storm coming. And by storm I mean one of the...THESE!!! *shock and horror*. I hope not but there might just be one of...those things coming. 'The Ninjalemming' 13:29, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

I asked the questions to see whether you'd like to join this as there are only two of us right now. 'The Ninjalemming' 13:51, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- yeah but Crytek UK used to be Free Radical before going admin and being brought by CryTek, so changed their name to Crytek UK. So Todd, will ya join the extremely small band of diehards (even though you are arn't a diehard of TimeSplitters but you are a Trekkie) and help make the pages goood. You seem capable of doing so, yuractually better then me at making gigantic edits of death. So the answer is? 'The Ninjalemming' 14:07, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

- Johnnie eh, what ever. I think if you followed certain roads (such as help spice up the actual page, check itout and see how dull it is) and made some expansive edits to some articles then that would help; but you ould be a sort of...consultant to, unsurprisingly, consult for big edit reasons and the such; very hepful if new editors join. And also you wouldn't really be a hinderence as I am guessing you have honed your 'scaning of the web' skills (SCT for short). In other words, I really want you to join just to bulk up the numbers and help on several issues (and again that bib BIG issue is the main page); as well as using you amazing SCT skills. Just join, edit main page, edit one or two other things for no real reason, then do as little as you want to do with it. You really need to check the main page just to see how badly new members are needed, eventually we will aim to make a main page, such as this. Just consider again, then again, and possible a third time, until you decide to join (I reckon that is going to be ALOT of considering.) Yo 'The Ninjalemming' 15:01, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- I am guessing you are still considering it (if not then do, untill you decide to join) but I just wanted to say you need more odd nick names; so far I have:
- Ninjalemming (You'd have never guessed that one could you)
- Ninja
- Lemming (the variety here is amazing)
- Rainbow Sprinkles
- Johnnie (as suggested by you)
Xeno has:
- Xeno (Nooo! Really?)
- Master xeno
- The Cidic Mister (in referece to his old name)
- Tom
Yo' have:
- Thejadefalcon
- Todd
- Jade
- Falcon
- Ace (Rimmer)
You need more, and remember to join (the main reason for this dit was to take up half of yur talk page, which is way the edits go down not sideways) =) 'The Ninjalemming' 10:28, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Your request for rollback
After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback can be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback may be removed at any time.
If you no longer want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Happy editing! –xenotalk 13:44, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

- So you still going to do the BioWare thing, if you do though Mass Effects priority will still have to be Mid; per classification system. Put the WikiProject here then the Mass Effect sub here for it's own special task force. If you don't want to I will do it for you will all the extra bits as well. Mass Effect series
Yeah, I didn't forget in any way about the info box...I just chose to...um...not put it one. yeah 'The Ninjalemming' 14:14, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- Oh and can I also mention YOU CRAZy FOOL! Yes I shouted you crazy fool...again. The reason being this and the now lack of colour on the page. While you were testing I thought you could at least have put that back; it was cool and more intone while I sort out some funky stuff to dab the page up, like a bi arse free title picture. Unfortunatly Ezekiel hasn't been on the wiki in a while. 'The Ninjalemming' 14:48, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- I decided that it didn't really suit the whole thing. Too garish. Also, Mass Effect has few colours that deep. It's a very shiny game and loves to merge colours. --Thejadefalcon (talk) 09:58, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- I was thinking of the black for space, the orange for the funky orange glow on the front cover, blue for same reason and the single grey thing because I couldn't be bothered to find another colour. Oh and if we get eleven people we will have to do a scroll list thingy; but I will do that so don't worry. Oh and the title will probably be coming in the next2/3 weeks not th original 1 as Ezekiel is busy at the moment. 'The Ninjalemming' 15:18, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- Funky orange glow? That's not really a major part of it. Besides, this is WPBW, not WPME. We need BioWare colours. And this? ME capitalization
"Rachni" is just like the other races, not capitalized because it isn't a proper noun. However, when you have Rachni Wars, Rachni Queen, Rachni Soldier and so on, rachni is capitalized because then it is part of a title. That about all you need to know? -- Commdor {Talk} 16:58, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

WP:TPO allows "[d]eleting material not relevant to improving the article", and WP:CIVIL#Removal of uncivil comments allows the removal of "obvious trolling". The IP will probably complain that I removed some of their own comments, but I think there's a difference between calling someone "hilariously pathetic" and criticizing one's writing.
On a side note, AgoINAgo's account was not hacked; the password was apparently leaked to the former IP. —LOL T/C 15:16, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

ME2 cover art
Just found out that these are the official cover art for the game. Apparently it was first released by BioWare via Facebook on the ME2 page. Anyway, just thought you'd want to know for sure, since you removed the art from the article earlier (I went ahead and added it back in). I've got to say, though, I am a little disappointed with BioWare on this. I always thought it would sort of go with the sleek look of ME1's art. Oh well, that's life. BTW, you plan on getting ME2? -- Commdor {Talk} 23:28, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I am hoping for a nice CE, maybe one with a steel book case. I think the ME2 art looks the way it does because of the emphasis the devs are putting on combat. It's supposed to embody the in-your-face quality and roughness of fighting and so on. One thing I'm a little ticked about is that the art doesn't give you any hints about the story. ME1's had the geth and Saren on it, but ME2 just shows Shepard and two new allies charging off somewhere. Whatever the art looks like though, it's the game that matters, right? -- Commdor {Talk} 18:56, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- But I want to cut to the chase. Who's the new bad guy? Where is this new enemy force that attacks the Normandy (I too, think that's unavoidable. From what I've put together, the attack happens pretty early on. I'm sure everyone survives, they get a new Normandy, then go off and do some stuff to save the galaxy and prep for the final "suicide" mission)? How do the Reapers factor in? I want plot spoilers, now!!! P.S. That planet Shepard's on in the cover is probably Tuchanka, the krogan homeworld. I think the official site shows it somewhere. -- Commdor {Talk} 17:55, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- {Whistles) Whew, text explosion. It's fascinating how we can spend hours picking this stuff apart. Anywho, according to the upcoming comic, Shepard gets stranded in the Terminus Systems just before the opening of ME2. I figure the Normandy gets destroyed and we see that in ME2, then it skips forward (by a few months, maybe? ME2 takes place 2 years after ME1, so there's a lot of room for stuff), past the events of the comics, which will likely show Shepard escaping the Terminus Systems while everyone thinks he died. The game begins as Shepard joins with Cerberus to figure out why human colonies are vanishing, and is able to go "undercover" because no one thinks he's still alive; he also gets his fancy new ship. So if I'm right, that's the first few minutes of ME2 in a nutshell.
Now I did look at the official website again, the cover art is definitely set on Tuchanka. Compare the background here to the background of the community page. The giant tower/scaffold/thing in the background of both proves it.
Lastly, the krogan named "Grunt" I've heard of. I'm keeping a running list of the possible squad mate roster in ME2. The total number of squad mates is either 10 or 12, and I've been able to confirm seven and identify four. The four named ones are Grunt, Jacob Taylor and Miranda Lawson from ME: Galaxy, and Thane, the hotshot assassin guy. The three other unnamed ones are a salarian scientist (you rescue him from Tuchanka), an insane biotic convict (picked up from a prison ship), and a geth (don't know how you get him, but it says here, bottom of the first paragraph, that he's recruitable). That leaves three to five spots open for Ashley/Kaidan, Tali, and Liara, but they're still somewhat in the air; actually, a female quarian that might be Tali was seen in a screenshot, and Liara's seen in a video, so those two might be locked in. Ashley/Kaidan should return depending on which one you let live since the official site's FAQ states you can continue romances that were started in ME1, as well as start new ones, but they have been seen in no ME2 material as of yet.
I see your wall of text, and raise you this one. Make your move! -- Commdor {Talk} 11:47, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

- No way I can outdo that one, but while I'm here... The previews of the comic may never have said that the Normandy gets destroyed, but you have to wonder how Shepard and Liara get stranded to begin with. My pet theory is that Shepard's on some nondescript mission, the Normandy gets attacked by the new guys, and he and Liara wind up separated from the rest of the survivors. The one hole in my idea is that the video showed Shepard going to save Joker while Liara gets away on a separate escape pod; logically, Shepard and Liara could still meet up on whatever planet they land on, but then what happened to Joker? However things turn out, I'm certain beyond doubt that the Normandy's destruction will be one of the first events in ME2, either right from the start or just a few hours in. But if BioWare can spoil something fairly major like this and think it no big deal, just imagine what will happen in ME2 that we don't know about. I want to see dark space, Reaper swarms, planets kerploding, a war on the Terminus Systems (seriously, this is a sci-fi combat game and there's technically no war going on; how is that even possible?), and other generally mind-blowing stuff. -- Commdor {Talk} 23:35, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Same here, I can't wait either. I've already got some cash set aside for it, along with Modern Warfare 2 (a must-buy) and a little more for Halo 3:ODST (looks good, but if I don't get to buy it I won't be crying in my sleep). -- Commdor {Talk} 01:30, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
You're in the U.K. right? I thought stores in Europe were already out of reservations for the Hardened and Prestige Editions of MW2 (or was that Canada?). I'll be going to the Ohio State University Sept. 21, and unfortunately you can't reserve a game at one Gamestop and pick it up at another, so I'll have to wait another month just to reserve my copy. I don't trust doing it online or over the phone, it's always turned into a fiasco of shipping delays and misplaced orders before. On top of that, I just found out today I'm assigned to a four-person suite at one of the campus buildings, so I'm concerned if I bring my 360 my roommates will want to mess with it; hopefully they have their own game consoles to keep them occupied. The only good part about college and my gaming habits at this point is that the closest Gamestop appears to be a convenient five-minute walk away. -- Commdor {Talk} 21:38, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've heard the Hardened and Prestige versions have run out through various online forums, no official confirmation yet (although if you ever thought about getting those night vision goggles, reserve Prestige now). As for CoD4, I beat it the first time through on Normal difficulty, and then started on Veteran. I think I only beat the first three levels on Vet before I quit to play Fallout 3, then CoD: WaW. I just got my 360 around last August, and CoD4 as a birthday gift in October; before that, I had only been able to watch my brother play on his 360 (he's gotten every achievement for the game). I may get around to completing a CoD4 Vet run, may not, but I'll try and get Mile High Club done just so I can be in that elite group. In any case, I do plan to play MW2 on Hardened difficulty from the get-go. Nice sig, by the way. -- Commdor {Talk} 17:49, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- And back to ME2, new screens were released today. Take a gander at the SR2 Normandy in the background of this screen, and then blown up from the cover for reference. I guess that answers what new ship we get once the old SR1 Normandy kicks the bucket. -- Commdor {Talk} 00:07, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'd play Hardened on MW2 just for the challenge, since Normal and Easy have been a little too easy. I want to savor the game instead of just breeze through it. To "get back in shape" for MW2, I actually started up CoD4 on Veteran again, now I'm up to "All Ghillied Up". There appears to be a very large gap between Hardened and Veteran difficulties; I hope IW decides to not make Veteran any harder than it already is just for MW2. Oh, and here's another link to that image of the new Normandy, if you still haven't seen it yet. The only big difference is that the large fin on the back of the original Normandy seems to have been taken off and replaced by the two smaller fins. I'm reminded of a pic in the GamePro preview article I've got, which shows a completely different captain's quarters for the ship. I had been wondering how the devs had fit it into the old Normandy, but now it looks like I got a sort of sneak-peek at the Normandy 2's interior. -- Commdor {Talk} 23:00, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- Update: Finished CoD4 in Veteran, even Mile High Club. It took two hours to do that particular level, but the others weren't too bad. Now it's back to getting a few more Mass Effect achievements and prepping a file for ME2 transfer, then the long wait for Modern Warfare 2. -- Commdor {Talk} 19:27, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've only played a few files on ME, two as soldiers and one as a vanguard. I ended up never using biotics much as a vanguard, and I don't want to start new files just for the abilities achievements (ME was great and all, but I get burned out with any game real easy), so I'll probably never get any of those. I'm just going for the weapons and ally achievements with the file I'll be transferring to ME2 (now level 60!). As for Mile High Club, all I can say is be patient and use flash-bangs as much as possible. If you can toss a flash then completely clear that section of the plane while the enemies are blinded, it's pretty straightforward; know that if you ever get blinded by your own flashes at any point, you've already lost. -- Commdor {Talk} 04:26, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm afraid our scintillating conversation has to come to an end. I'm retiring from Wikipedia today, something I've been meaning to do for a while now. It just fed something in me and became a little unhealthy for a habit. Time to move on, you know? I can't keep editing stuff forever. Maybe I just didn't have the right mentality for this kind of thing, towards the end I was taking it too seriously. Anyway, if you ever get Xbox Live, my gamertag is also "Commdor", and I can be reached any time at the e-mail address "cbj42@fuse.net". Good luck with your editing career, thanks for the chat, and may you succeed in all of your (video game-related) struggles. -- Commdor {Talk} 21:23, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Fable 2 Edit
Ok I believe in that when someone wants to take innovative on working on a article, they have to know what the article is about. Stating that the editor who took it out should have known this tid bit of information had a small hinch of fact in it and should took the responsibility themselves to look into it. I'll do the exact same before I remove stuff from article myself. IF it does not look like it's vandalism and it seems reasonable Ill look into it. When I added it my mistake was I did forget the source but not only one person can do a whole article right?
Its like if you are a cop and someone told you a person was killed and at the crime scene you see a shady person there, you wouldn't arrest them on the spot, you look for evidence (sources) yourself. Stating that I do believe some editors are lazy cause they do not take the innovative of being pro active. Besides that I did add the source myself and I really do not see any reason on sending a message to me about that as I did not put a individual user down and I was pointing out editors who do that in general. --҉ რɫՒ◌§ 9¤ ॐ 03:16, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- Not really I put the fact in right before I went to work so I did not have time to put the note in and assumed someone else would put it in knowing most editors edit articles that they are most familiar with (seeing now thats not the fact -,-) And I am not that big of a wiki person so I don't know how to add a invisible code including a side note and I really don't want to learn cause I don't have time and I would expect to come back home a finish editing it, and seeing it was removed with not even a day passed and it considered as a unsoruced statement frustrates me. Someone can at least take a quick second to look for the statement and seeing they didn't really pisses me off. Wiki is a community and everyone strives to improve the article than assume what should and can't be in the article until someone elses does the work for them. --҉ რɫՒ◌§ 9¤ ॐ 05:30, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Regarding Achievement citations to Fable II
Good day, I have replied to the issue you raised on Talk:Fable II, but thought I would also notify you here about it incase you are interested in what happens to the previous template used for the citation. The previous template used for the citation linked to a website which requires you to log in to view it, and thus it is being considered for deletion at Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion#Template:Playstation.com, which is a batch nomination.
I have resolved the issue on the article by changing the citation to a more user friendly one, which does not require you to log in to view it. Happy editing! --Taelus (talk) 22:50, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Dragon Age
Greetings, I saw that you left me a message about you weren't sure if forum post are considered reliable sources or not. My intention was for people to happen to see the info on stuff was stated by an actual Bioware employee. Chris Priestly is Community Coordinator for both Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect installments. He's been active in a number of video game conventions and has been very knowledgeable and reliable source on the game.
Really just want to clarify if you happen to see him post on those links or not?

- Um, why is this on you userpage?
Due to choices made by the player during the original Mass Effect, the plot of Mass Effect 2 may vary dramatically and plot lines may diverge. Please exercise caution in the weeks following the release of the game with respect to the Plot section. Consider discussing changes to determine if the text is inaccurate or merely an alternate plot line. |

FanFic
I checked your fan fiction stuff and it is pretty good, do you want to be an author or something? I am doing something that has a massive amount of planning behind it for me to make the first one (so far the planning is in excesse of 50 pages) and have, strangely, written the beginning of the second one (because it's cool, it involves a car chase through a jungle that eventually makes it's way to a large cliff edge (well actually it's just I could keep time well at the end) of course most of it is person climbing over many jeeps and trucks beating his way to the main truck). the actual stories themselves are set in the Lord of the Rings universe and the Mass Effect one (yes, I joined them together, although some facts had to be changed to make sense, mainly when things took place), it was originally just meant to be three stories of 200 or so pages each about me and my mates in a zombie apocalypse but then increase dramatically to now planning around 20 at least, spanning 60 years (although this made things easier so age wasn't a real factor) and then 10 more set in the Lord of the Rings time and then Mass Effect maybe 5 each. But I'll probably do more, maybe I'll throw you in too; oh and it no longer contains just my mates but many other characters. just a small fact. And to keep it fine, didn't you say you were gig to get broad band, so you can go on wiki pedia more?
- First things first, when trying to do the voting thing on your fanfic I needed a login so decided just to tell you; I tried voting for the middle three with emphasis on Colony one. Oh on the scary bit was it you thought it was a bit crap or what? I didn't really understand. But yeah, I watched all four Indy films and got the idea of the chase. The link from LotR to ME is basically, in Middle Earth there's magic, there are also magical barriers around Middle Earth which prevent people going to other places on the Earth but simply send you back to the other side of the map; you keeping up. From space the same sort of thing happens but is more complicated so basically you only see one part, and the part you can see is round. The elves basically, after another evil person tried to take over Middle Earth, cast the largest spell imaginable to make everyone forget over a couple of hundred years about magic and the others races that weren’t Man; the Elves left by using magic and went past the magical barriers, the dwarfs retreated inside the mountains and also eventually left using runes, the Hobbits moved outside and lived like man and grew tall and less hairy (creating a sub-species) while the orcs and stuff from Middle earth died etc till only man/hobbit were left, and had forgotten all magical ways and history; to advance with science. Fast forward a few hundred years to scholars who, due to no evidence from the ‘Middle Earth’ time missed it and put two completely separate time periods next to each other. That’s the LotR bit; the Mass Effect bit is even more complicated and not complete yet. The zombie bit is some evil organisation hell bent on world domination, using zombies to wipe out all resistance for their evil deeds (don’t point out the major floors here). We need a separate page for this stuff, how about your sandbox? Again, yeah what happened to the Mass Effect Extranet thing; I wasn’t done yet? 'The Ninjalemming' 13:43, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I see what you meanby terrify now; the reason the self-insert is in there is because this was all it was going to be for me and my mates (There's three of us who do stories, the other two do comedy though such as 'Phil and Matt's Adventure'; I dodark stuff) and then as I liked LotR and ME I thought it would be cool to put them in; it's nothing serious and nothing cannon, just whoa and swish. 'The Ninjalemming' 13:47, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes it is just for my friends, and what about it so far (there is much, much, much more to it then this as I said there are now over 200 pages of planning, one hundred of which is to the lightest detail and only covers the first fifteen; the other one hundred are going into detail but will need at least another four hundred pages to do detail of the bits done so far, and I still havn't finished the over lay yet. That includes not really adding LotR in or ME) does the story bore/horrifiy you, or do you think its alright just needs polish? (and to never be seen by major LotR fans, major meaning more then me and you put together; and I think it is one of the swishyist (meaning amazing) things ever, definatly in my top five media related things (Can't decide on the order of the top five, it's so hard but LotR would probably be three'd or higher), I don't know what you think of it but that just shows how much of fans these people are). Would you actually read it once done though? (considering, well there's lots of brackets in this reply, but that's not he point, LotR is not mentioned till atleast the fifteenth one and ME is just slowly worked into the whole series (mainly, see brackets =), going into it after eighteen; or so I intend) And did the ME bit not realy scary you, compared to the LotR bit? Does the entire idea sound like absoulte crap to you? Do you want a list of the extra created characters so you can see the detail? Are you going to move this to your sandbox talk page so we don't destroy your, so far, tidy page? 'The Ninjalemming' 16:54, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- How bad were you really? I don't think I'm a bad writer when I write properly (hence taking English for A-level) but the ideas need lots of work, luckily it is going through a revamp as well as finshing it in general (the only proplem is getting amazing ideas will I'm out then forgetting them once I get back in, I need a note book. =P 'The Ninjalemming' 17:00, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- I made Mass Effect slightly eariler by using the idea of the Mass Effect which uses dark-mater (mixture of electromagnitism and gravity; v complicated and especially when learning it for the first time) and combining it with anti-mater and super conductivity to say how steering the space ships is possibel (there are many science based things like this but at the same time multiple religious aspecs (like Indy) to state many facts (yes these stories will point out key things in life, a few for example are anti-racism, that politicians have less power then the people they 'control', the individual is as powerful as any other but in groups becomes a collective 'greatness' ect). Just incase you wanted other things to see if this was a steaming pile of compost or something that, with effort, would prospire into something of more value then gold. (that wasn't as good as your thing, damn you). =P and this time reply when you read it, you could turn in to my mate Rhys. 'The Ninjalemming' 19:12, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

- You really, really, really do need to put this on you talk page. Ohh =S if I email you the stuff so far you head will implode, it only makes ense to me; just imaging shit on a page and your there. I need lots of the stuff like the mass Effect thing for people who havn't played the game (which, strangley as it is awesome, none of my mates have) so I'm not just going to confuse them (it my sound rather bad to say this, but it will eventually all make sense, just I need time), another thing is a third of it is on the computer I am using now, a third is on paper, and the last third is on the other computer (which has alll the original ideas which are mostly (well about half of it) changed. The one wht the original stuff is the only one with email capability (I should have a lap top by next year so it willl be accelerating production by then) so you could only get the original. Then again I would like to hear yor opinion of this the old stuff and see whether your view is like mine, most of it was rubbish so needed serious changing; before I send it though I will need to change the beginning (it's so bad it embarrasing) to a more recent (though not the newest) version; I should be able to do it by the end of the week, though it could take longer. I also read you were eighteen, never know this fct, makes sense really. =P 'The Ninjalemming' 11:01, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
- 8472 = cringe ;O I'm sure I've done worse though. but yeah, the beginning of mine was still more embarrassing, that's how bad it was. I will never write it again; and will never say what it was. I was going to read CoPM but saw it would have taken me about ten minutes to read so suddenly my scream system went into overdrive. Although I did read bits, and it is much better then 8472; although though the name sounds...odd. Well actually thinking about it, the majority of the first story I'm writing is shite, I think I can redeem it with the writing but the actual story itself is craptastic. I want you to read it now and laugh at it; it's what I did, I wrote the plan (and by plan I mean plan) about a year ago and since then my writing abilities (when I try, don't say a word) have sky rocketed. Oh and with you added on, I now have three peer reviewers, one who also writes (though not fanfic) and one who just reads stuff (so a good balance of fanfic writer review, general writer review, and an audience review). I would say I would review your stories if I had an account and time. I will email you as quick as possible. 'The Ninjalemming' 11:23, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oh just read your extra comment, the eighteenthings is you write like a 18 year old who, guess what, like to write and knows how; although you sometimes sound younger then you are. But when do you think you will have broadband by? 'The Ninjalemming' 11:25, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

Re:Finding 8472 three years on was probably a bad thing, but every one (and this is coming from three people, including you) cringes at their first story compared to the later ones; you just get better and better. Re: CoPM, I know the title makes sense in the normal context but it just sonds weird; 'the correction of the past mistake' doesn't quite fit with 'the Goblet of Fire' or 'The Half Blood Prince'; the story cool though. Maybe you should write the prequel Rowling isn't writng but made part of. Re: I can act as well, despite the fact I didn't kie being serious in front of a crowd; I just act normal and some how lip into the character, don't know why, I just does. =P Probably need to practice though other wise will not be able to do it that well. And it's useful to have. Although as you randomly slip into it I'm probably not as good as you, or you have a multilpe-personanlity disorder. Re: The postal-fu- er I meant foulups =D are going to happen. Re: Email, I'm gonna go do it now; though it will take time as I need to find the file I havn't even seen in three months and can't remember what it's called. Should be done in atleast fifteen 'The Ninjalemming' 11:44, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

- Sent. Tell me if you do or don't receive it incase I sent it to the wrong place. Don't know why I didn't split the RE's of the oen before the previous message up. (That sentance made perfect sense) 'The Ninjalemming' 12:15, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

- And another thing, about the previous age thing; I can only act parts, I cannot act them then write parts for it (or if I can I need practice). This is one of the original problems with my plan, all the characters (except JJ and the Captain) had similar personalities, now it's starting (though each character is still being worked on) to vary. - One last thing, a extra story is inbetween two of them (before the african one) called 'Trinity' (it's the start of a trilogy about three people (mainly)). I would email this to you but the screen for that computer is now messed up so cannot, and have no other way of contacting you. 'The Ninjalemming' 14:04, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- Did you repond to the rest of this crap above in an email? Actually I will check (if the screen doesn't blow up, I swear it will anyday now). 'The Ninjalemming' 15:34, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- As for the MPD joke, yes I did. It wasn't hard and it made me giggle like a small girl on helium. 'The Ninjalemming' 15:36, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- Well snap to it and read it biatch! =D (where the hell did that word actually come from, and done say bitch). And did you send an email? 'The Ninjalemming' 15:56, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

- I dunno, I think words are pretty damn good too. =P And a email has been sent, though tell me here if you reply via email because I'm not telepathic (just telepathetic, which means telepathic but not very good, and it hurts; generally needs practice, but nobody wants to unless you like serious headaches). 'The Ninjalemming' 16:11, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yep but that involves running to a room upstairs every five seconds, which isn't very constructive (although I like running and jumping off/over stuff so I could run up stairs, check them then jump out the window and jump into this room) so it would be easier for a heads up. I do check them everyday though but for some reason some never come through, lucky there free *cough, senditagincough* 'The Ninjalemming' 16:22, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Another incident
Commenting on the 'Buck the Retard' incident, you made one fatal floor (other then I found talking meatballs that said they were Asexual and just close friends; which I donot believe), he is saying that Buck is a girl, and therefore she would be a Lesbian (alsoo know as gay in general) and therefore, can have a girlfriend. Unless he is wrong in which case he is an idiot , but thats kinda self explanitry (and I may also be an idiot). Well done for also not using taboos ect which was very much like me (now take that as a insult or compliment, what ever takes your fantsy, it was meant as the latter), I will also go away and find out what heteroflexible means, *in innocent way*I am too innocent for my own good *cough*, also I will go away and find out why people think that calling people homos/gays or any other names could be insulting to any one; for the simple fact either there wrong or the person is and who cares if they are any way, it's there chose not yours and if you don't like it then put your own head up your arse and lick your balls as you sir, are moronic. See ya =P 'The Ninjalemming' 15:02, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- Found out what heteroflexible means (and with all these weirdos, degenerates and general idiots (see previous vandalism person) on the internet, then your brave to even say it; cause people can't except things that other people can't because they are sheep, baaahh. =) I also found out that Chach isn't a insult in any mannar as it is simply a place name. =D What a tool. 'The Ninjalemming' 15:08, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- The retard thing was basically on the actual Halo page he was saying she not he for stuff like, "she gets in the passenger seat". 'The Ninjalemming' 16:35, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

Test
Why does the timestamp keep reverting back to 2009; when it was 2179? It did it with the last one which is why it was archived. 'The Ninjalemming' 16:20, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- Really, since when did you have a time machine? And why did you go to 2179? Was it just to check wikipedia? 'The Ninjalemming' 16:28, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

- This http://www.abyssandapex.com/200710-wikihistory.html is hilarious, along with the rest of this especially Keepers' stuff. 'The Ninjalemming' 16:45, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- Did you check Keeper's stuff? Anyway, it's meant to last till 2179, but after the first arrival it got changed back to 2009. The reason it's 2179 is I'll wait till the day it's due to be archived then change it back to 2009; see whta the bot does then! =P 'The Ninjalemming' 15:33, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ah but that's not 170 years in the future when MiszaBot would have evolved into a living life form but has not grasp of the past (don't say anything fool) so would go wrong. I know he evolves from using the time traveling antics of the guys above; I saved one of their entire groups lives (they were almost eaten by some giant snail of destruction) so they gave me the device which allows time travel as long as noone else is allowed to use it (it's now in convinent pocket size! aka just that little bit bigger then any of your pockets!). I seen many things but this I'm gonna wait out, seems more fun that way with the whole getting exited bit. 'The Ninjalemming' 15:44, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Hello. Please do not revert edits like this one, with the only reason being no citations. It's not very nice. Our policy is WP:Verifiability, not WP:Verified. :-) It took me about 60 seconds to find a reference for the information added. Remember, anonymous contributors do not always know the policy on referencing, often you have to do it for them. Re:Theories
Well, now that I think of it, Bond is a fictional character, so I'm not sure why were debating on him anyways. Judas, well of course he is in heaven. Even though he betrayed Jesus and turned him into the Romans. He still say what he had done and came to Christ. He found that what he did has so wrong that the only punishment he could be givin was his own death, so he killed himself. Trust me, he is in a good place.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 13:05, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

- Both, a wiki break from now..till some time tomorrow probably. 'The Ninjalemming' 16:56, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
- Wow that was an amazing wikibreak, I did lots of things; however if you see something on the news about a downed aeroplane on the North Circular that wasn't my fault, the squirrel on the windshieldy thing distracted me and I just happened to spill my drink on the controls. The thing about the dog piloting the plane while every one else decided to try and do the worm on the wing of the plane is just not true...only half decided to do that. remember no one was hurt and I did save the noding dog figure. There were also other things during it like..erm, well single handidly invading a neutral country, er...finding a nest of dinosaurs, then acidently activating a ammo dump in the area...managing to create a car that is the fastest, best handling and just in general quickest around any track, then blowing it up because I didn't like the paint...and also attempting a backflip in a helicopter, whilst doing a handstand, and practising hula hooping. Other then that I'm back for the day! And my wiki addictionismistness score all ready was probably 2.758931 'The Ninjalemming' 14:21, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
- Why didn't you tell me you had broadband, and if you do why avn't you responded yet. Now you have to find out the inconvinences of broadband; such as slow speeds because the internet people naffed up good (this happened to me and it took two years to fix) and/or paying for an extra download stuff ie. avoid youtube at all costs or it will cost. This could have been sent by email but what the hell 'The Ninjalemming' 12:02, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Hey there. Following on from your comment on my talk page, admins can restore deleted articles, either to the mainspace or userspace. I have the power! ;) GedUK 15:55, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Block requests on Xeno's talk page
I notice that when you request for someone to be blocked, you go to Xeno's talk page. While that's fine in itself, I recommend next time you bring it to the appropriate board (list of links here) where admins active in blocking hang out. Also, Twinkle is excellent at making the reporting process painless. Cheers, BlazerKnight (talk) 10:56, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- That would be WP:AIV. BlazerKnight (talk) 11:08, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- It's probably the most watched admin board and stuff there gets settled quickly, while more stuff piles up into scary backlogs in dark corners of the 'pedia. :P I'm averse to coding too but Twinkle can be easily enabled at Special:Preferences > Gadgets. All of the stuff there is amazing, try them out. You just need an updated browser and Javascript. BlazerKnight (talk) 11:21, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hehe, I see you've been trying Twinkle out. How is it? Feel better than hitting Undo, wait for page to load, type edit summary, wait for page to load, go to vandal's talk page, find appropriate warning template, etc? Now just click, click, click, done. BlazerKnight (talk) 11:55, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Eh, I wouldn't call that vandalism. The edit summary is sufficient unless the user persists in changing it. Twinkle's extensive warning system has a notice for many situations. BlazerKnight (talk) 12:10, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Well if neither vandal nor AGF is appropriate, just revert and provide a reasonable edit summary. As long as you make clear what you're doing, and why, using Twinkle to revert multiple edits is fine. Just make sure you're editing according to policy! As for testing admin reporting, try reporting Beautybay2009 (talk · contribs) for violation of username policy. BlazerKnight (talk) 13:42, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

- Well if you didn't give a damn who downloaded it you'd fail as a polie officer or a judge or something similar. And you can do hurdles, anyone can do anything, it's just a matter of will; I thought I couldn't do those last few reps on the shoulder press or climb those extra few metres on the wclimbing wall, but I tried my hardest and did it. This did however make me extrememly happy (or actually happier, unlike every other moody git in my school) and wanted to do it again. How high be the hurdles any way? Mass Effect 2
Yeah, thats what I thought too. But it appears that Drew Karpyshyn actually moved to austin to help BioWare with The Old Republic. So in his stead, Mac Walters became the lead writer... But its still pretty clear that Karpyshyn still laid out mostly the entire Mass Effect story... Hi. I noticed the message you left on Mrpmpfan's talk page - still had it on my watchlist from a message I left a while ago - Just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia's POV policy only applies to articles, not talk pages. It was still an inapproriate edit and you were right to revert it, but for future reference, WP:NOTFORUM is more relevant in those situations. I've added the Template:uw-chat1 message to his talk page. (Sorry if this is teaching you to suck eggs!) Cheers, Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 12:47, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

Edit warring
Please be careful not to end up edit warring. While I agree with you that the image doesn't belong in the article, the IP has stated his reason for disagreement (maybe not a good reason, but a reason nonetheless) and neither of you should be reverting too much. I have asked the IP to start a discussion at the talk page; if he doesn't, maybe you can instead.
Also, by the way, it is not advisable to use rollback, Twinkle, etc., to revert during content disagreements. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 18:55, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
- No worries. Personally, I think a revert is a revert no matter how you do it, and the edit summary is more important than the method...but some people get very upset about use of rollback or other automated tools during content disputes, and it's not something you'd want looming over your head if someone took this to WP:AN3.
- Anyway, I'll keep my eye on the talk page to see if anything comes up. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 19:34, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
- I almost edit warred about ten over the trival thing about wether Wesker was dead or alive on Resi 5. My reasoning was there was no confirmation so it should not be said wether he was dead or alive, later it was said by Capcom that he is dead. 'The Ninjalemming' 19:33, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
Removal of Speedy Del tags
Hey, just fyi, there is a template for removing speedy tags. I saw you've been using the one for AfD tags. But {{subst:drmspeedy}} is the template for removing speedy tags. Thanks.--TParis00ap (talk) 02:54, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
User:Next2BlowAllStars
I'm not surprised about the UAA report. However, I don't see where he was ever alerted to this on his talk page ({{uw-username}} or similar templates).
Also, as a matter of practice, user talk pages aren't deleted, because it would obscure the warning history. That said, it's perfectly acceptable to remove blatant spam content from (the current version of) the page yourself. —C.Fred (talk) 03:12, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- That's probobly more my fault than Thejadefalcon. I made the UAA report and I didn't know it was common practice to let the user know about it. I haven't done it in the past but I will do it in the future. I also was the first to tag it for CSD, again I apologize, I will simply remove the spam in the future.--TParis00ap (talk) 03:18, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- That template is fine (though I usually use it before making the report). And, of course, don't forget to subst the template and sign the comment. :) —C.Fred (talk) 03:24, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- Forgetting to sign can happen to anybody. If you don't believe me, look at the history of this talk page. :) subst will expand out the template - this is very handy with warning templates, since it shows the warnings text at the time the warning was given, in case it's changed later. Usage in this case would be
{{subst:uw-username|it is the name of a company you are attempting to promote}}
. —C.Fred (talk) 03:30, 5 November 2009 (UTC)- Concerning the subst: The difference isn't on the talk page when reading it, but if you use the subst and then edit the page again you'll see the difference. Without subst, you'll see the template as {{drmspeedy}} but if you use {{subst:drmspeedy}} and then edit the page you'll see "Please do not remove..." ect ect. Try it out. It works for all templates.--TParis00ap (talk) 14:58, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

MW2
I never used that word. You did. I think you seem to think that (subconsciously). hahaha Ssh83 (talk) 22:24, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
I also noticed that you said "we." Hm... Maybe SineBot was onto something... In any case, the main article looks fine to me, and since you seem to be attentive of the MW2 article, maybe you'd be the best person to add these new information released in IW's live chat with Bestbuy. It contains a lot more "reinventions" of PC FPS genre: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2009/11/pc-modern-warfare-2-its-much-worse-than-you-thought.ars After seeing those, I think there's enough significance both in quality and quantity of changes/reinventions to warrant a full section, but you're probably the better person to do that than me, or some angry FPS fanboy. Now, I'm not taking any sides, and I'm open-minding about the possibilities that IW is up to something good. However I still feel that this is most likely just IW and EA deciding not to implement these features to reduce production cost and maximize profit, so I probably won't be able to write something that is totally conspiracy theory free. You, on the other hand, being indifferent/unassuming about these changes probably can do a better job. Ssh83 (talk) 22:50, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
username notices
Hey Jade, I wanted to ask you if you would consider not leaving username notices to nearly every name reported at WP:UAA. With promotional names, we usually just softblock them and ask them to create a new account name. It creates an awkward situation when a user gets a message asking them to discuss their username, and then the next message they get tells them they've been blocked because of it. In borderline or unclear cases the discussion template is used, but with most promotional or highly offensive names, they are blocked because they have come to Wikipedia for exactly the wrong reasons, and the majority of them realize this after being blocked, and either start a new account or simply stop trying to edit because they can't add spam. Speedy deletion nomination of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Chicago
I fail to see how this article Former All Saints Cathedral, Chicago fits the criteria for section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, given when a page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person. Re: User talk:Lactating goat
Please stop reverting him. Whomever informed you that users can't remove warnings on their talk page was incorrect. See WP:TALK: Users may freely remove comments from their own talk pages, though archiving is preferred. They may also remove some content in archiving. The removal of a warning is taken as evidence that the warning has been read by the user. This specifically includes both registered and anonymous users. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:46, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- Please read WP:TALKO. Users are allowed to delete messages from their own talk page - this is interpreted as a sign that they have been read and understood. Stop reverting the edits at User talk:Lactating goat. AJCham 18:51, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- You were edit warring at User talk:Lactating goat. You may not know this, but users are allowed to blank warnings from their talk pages. The warning is still visible in the page history, and the blanking is evidence that the user has received and read the warning. Please don't revert those sort of edits. Happy editing, Jehochman Talk 19:36, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
I was generally concerned with WP:MFD creating new policy. There is no policy against IPs having a userpage, it's just technically impossible for them to create. Some IPs are static and edit as IPs by choice for years. Most places I edit tend to have fairly static IPs (though since I edit different places, I don't), so I empathize (even though I don't generally edit as an IP unless I'm on a computer where I have a monitored account - e.g. a Fed. Gov't computer). I am comfortable with this specific case now, however; see the IP's recent comment on my talk page. Actually, I've now completely changed my opinion, as this IP would not be a good example to base policy on, I think it was best that we dealt with it at MFD.--Doug.(talk • contribs) 08:32, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

So, my guess is that reform is not likely. And, yes, his gratuitous use of the "n word" is intolerable. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 00:07, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you
for reverting vandalism on my user page. I think I may now be approaching the all-time record in user-page vandalisms! --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:07, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- I used to have userbox you mention on my userpage, and still know how to insert it. I found that whern I became an admin the vandal edits came in so fast that it seemed to take five editors to control them and it became obvious that some
mindless freaksunthinking eccentrics were vandalising just to enhance the total. So I removed it, and there have been fewer attacks since. But some people do not like their articles being deleted, or their accounts blocked, and this is sometimes the way they express their frustration. If you become an admin you will find the same thing. So thank you, but sadly no thank you.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:18, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

- Sorry to see you are in mourning. I post this here as it is related to DA:O. Company names in American English are referred to differently than in British English, just like when referring to families. What we consider countable and non-countable nouns in other words. The article is written in American English so "has" is the correct choice. If there is a reason for the article to be converted into British English, then please convert the quotations, spelling, and other punctuation as well. 75.213.191.229 (talk) 03:43, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yea, Thejadefalcon seem to have no idea regarding Dragon Age: Origins whatsoever. He just keeps editing right contributions out of it because, he feels they are wrong. - There is no demon in the LotR bits, there is just a connection between LotR and modern day which eventually becomes ME. LotR is meant to be 'The land time forgot' I do believe (correct me if I'm dismally wrong..as well as can't spell). This works with it, and also leeds to the Earth expanding sometime in the future as I'll run out of Earth to do stunts over, comedy stuff, fights scenes and general destruction. - Fine, just wait half a century for it to give up having a temper tantrum, and if you think the LotR bits bad (wait till you read what happens too) you will not want to read how everything begins. A quick synopsis before loging off, a God like entity (working on on the concept still, though he has human emotions as suggested by him being poked in the eye by this and then falling out with them for six million years) creates the universe and physics (while in a the land of Plysics (Heaven) were everything is possible) until the end of 'The adventures of Phil and Matt' (which are on Bebo some where made by my friend) were the universe is destroyed, I jump out and make a new one (r several through copying and pasting). Theres a very quick synopsis, though LotR and all subsequent stories in Middle-earth are no alterd and all; I wouldn't even consider doing that. 'The Ninjalemming' 21:18, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Your messages on User talk:86.157.71.232#Copyright and Fair Use
Thanks for helping the user, however I just wanted to say (on this page, rather than on either that page or my talk page - where we know the user is responding as well) that I thought that the tone of some of your messages was a bit 'off'.
The user is angry. This could be because they are a vandal who has been foiled, or it could be (and to be honest, this is the way I'm inclined to think) they are who they say they are, and are angry because they can't remove an image they think should not be present.
Some examples of some of your comments:
- Then we'll actually pay attention to your inane yammerings
- Calm down, or I can guarantee, we will point and laugh at you and your delusions.
I understand that you are trying to help - but to be honest, if I was to read these on my talk page, I would be a bit pissed off! I feel that this individual is indeed the Intellectual Rights owner - the only problem is that they have provided no proof of this, and no proof that they are the copyright owner as well. These are the two issues here. Most such designs are indeed copyrighted to The Crown, but some copyrights are left to the original designer.
Anyway, it's not a biggie - I just feel that these two examples are more likely to piss off the user than get them to listen to us and follow the advice we are giving them to do what they want to do.
Happy editing! -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 08:13, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- Personally, I'm inclined to think vandal given how long it took for them to even get involved in talking to people (he blanked the SBS logo eight times and got to a Level Four warning before he even started to explain anything). Secondly, he's previously ignored your advice to contact the Wikimedia Foundation. He has provided no proof whatsoever (it can't be that hard to see it from the eyes of us, in that we need proof connecting the IP address to the intellectual property owner, let alone to the copyright owner) but gives us a link to a site that (now it's open) I have decided is fairly worthless. I mean, if nothing else, he could ask us to send a letter to the address listed as the intellectual property owner and the person living at that address can write back saying whether or not he is the IP address. Looks like they live in Wales, so that'd be easy for me. Thirdly, he seems to be getting a bit too worked up. It's a logo, big whoop. If he really is the owner of either intellectual property or copyright, he should know what it takes to prove he is the owner and how to deal with a dispute of ownership, especially when it's an encyclopaedia using it. Can you imagine him writing a letter to Britannica with this sort of attitude? Or would he merely walk into every bookstore in the country, open up every copy of Britannica to the SBS page and rip out the logo (the equivalent of what he has done here)? Combine all this with a... fairly impossible to understand e-mail he sent to me last night, somehow containing a forum post of mine from a year ago (and this is from a forum that, to my knowledge, only holds threads for about four months before deleting them) which I can't figure out how he got a hold of and, yeah, I'm still leaning towards vandal and assuming bad faith. If he provides proof that he is the owner of the copyright, then I will make a full apology, but not until then. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 14:03, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- I understand your viewpoint - and I happen to agree that he is being overly vehement over this issue! Please note that I am not having a go at you - we've interacted before in positive ways - I just thought that those two phrases were perhaps a bit off!
- I have not received any e-mails from the user themselves - and have heard nothing since their last messages a couple of days ago. It's in their hands now - we've told them how to legitimately (from WMF's point of view) go about removing the content. (By the way, the address is in Northumberland, not near Wales - it's nearer to Newcastle).
- Anyway, just wanted to reassure you that I wasn't having a go at you, and that I appreciate your point of view and your efforts to help this user. Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 14:10, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

As to my address, I can be contacted by email through the link in the toolbox on the left-hand side of the screen on my user page or user talk page. I don't have my e-mail address visible - and even the one that I use for wikipedia is one on my domain which is only used for wikipedia. Also, I don't need talkbacks, as I have pages which I comment on automatically placed on my watchlist!

Dragon Age
Hi.
You wrote "Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Dragon Age: Origins. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia"
I didn't write my own personal analysis. I thought that writing the paragraph about "differences between the console versions" (besides letting the wikipedia open to a flamewar between fanboys) wasn't neutral, since it didn't include any comment about the third version, the PC version(the one with the higher reviews, btw) so I changed it the title "Differences between versions" and I quoted Gamespot, as the rest of the paragraph, saying "The PC version is the superior experience" which is a quote from the paragraph "The PC version is the superior experience, but if you're choosing between the two console releases, the PlayStation 3 has the upper hand" again from gamespot.
Should I change it back to my version?
So, should I change it back? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Quijote3000 (talk • contribs) 22:43, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- "The differences between the console versions and the PC version are detailed above that section" Sorry? In the wikipedia article? Anyway, I'm leaving the article to you, although I still think it would be more neutral to write about the differences between the three versions, not about only two. --Quijote3000 (talk) 23:43, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Dragon Age article- Shale voiceactor.
Heya, I would just like to point out that the citation for Geraldine Blecker voice acting Shale does not actually support the claim, as it states that they were a voice actor for "Dragon Slayer", not "Dragon Age: Origins". Link for your convenience.
As of the current revision it has been removed and replaced with a different voice actor, however as you previously reverted such changes I thought I would raise this to you for your information. Hope this is helpful, happy editing! --Taelus (talk) 02:07, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm my google searching didn't clear up the confusion, there seems to be universal confusion about the voiceactor. Some claim the credits at the end of the game say Shale was voiced by Geraldine Blecker, but imdb disagrees, and I cannot find any alternate sources yet. The majority of google results for the term Geraldine Blecker Dragon Age seem to be forum topics dicussing this confusion so they are not helpful. Also, the imdb entry for Geraldine Blecker's popularity/page views are up by 6400%, so I suspect this is widespread confusion. Perhaps Bioware will give a listing somewhere... --Taelus (talk) 02:26, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
- As if to add to my woes and confusion, I found the credits section in the European Dragon Age Origins manual. It does not list Geraldine Blecker under the voiceacting cast... But it doesn't list Barry Ellis either. However, it does list Greg Ellis as a voice actor. --Taelus (talk) 02:30, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

- I guess we will just have to wait on a secondary source listing the credits then. Secondary sources are better anyway... I did another quick google sweep and couldn't find any credits for the DLC sadly. --Taelus (talk) 17:22, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Hmm... Well, we can source it anyway with this information, and use a secondary source to compliment it once one is available. The other voice actor doesn't have any references supporting them either except imdb which is notorious for being incorrect. --Taelus (talk) 22:08, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for minding my talk page. I'm online for a little while, so let's just let it settle down for a bit and stop responding. She tweeted that I deleted her article "b/c I'm in Canada" and pointed people to my talk page, which is why everybody is coming out of the woodwork. Arguing with everybody who shows up won't really help matters at this moment. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:07, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

- Yes, there was a tweet about it. If you wade through the various comments, you will see Phoenix1 mentioned that and I discovered it myself. Semi-protecting my talk page isn't really necessary. Hopefully the big red box will help a little. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:26, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks again for helping respond to my talk page, but I think it's best for now to stop responding to everybody who keeps showing up. thanks for the reminder. Do you think you'll be able to have a conversation with blueboy96 about not biting newbies, and being a bit more careful when reading bot-generated messages? thanks. Also, I don't know how to remove the edit summary, so if you can please feel free to do so. NotAnIP83:149:66:11 (talk) 00:02, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- You would need to request an Oversighter to remove the edit summary and I'm not totally sure if that's something they'd even bother with. Best thing to do is to make some minor (or major, if you want) alteration to your comment and apologise in that edit summary. As for blueboy96, he didn't seem overly bitey to me, but then, I've bitten people before too, so I may just not realise it. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:09, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- A new editor makes some test edits at the sandbox (we want them to do that), finds some sources and posts to an article talk page, asking for some updates, adding the links with reliable information, and giving a reason why he's not going to do it. Instead of collaborative editing, (someone showing him what to do, or someone finding the other sources, etc) he gets a completely bogus username discussion? When the bot even tells editors to be careful about false positives? NotAnIP83:149:66:11 (talk) 00:14, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, I admit. I hadn't even checked the contribution logs of either. I was just basing my assumption off of the bits of information on the UAA page and the newbie's talk page. I may talk with blueboy96 later, but I don't have time to search through the contribs log right now. My advice? You do it. It would help show you're sorry for the edit summary if you are the one to discuss it first, staying properly within policy boundaries. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:24, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Inheritance cycle languages
Hello Thejadefalcon, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Inheritance cycle languages - a page you tagged - because: this doesn't meet WP:CSD#A1 - it is not "very short", and the context is clear. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. JohnCD (talk) 13:50, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Please report to AIV next time. "If the name is a possible violation, but they are spamming or vandalising: It is usually better to block for the bigger problem and not the smaller one. - Thank you for trying to help out. People should not break rules. However, the foremost goal of Wikipedia is article writing. So if a user is writing articles or helping in some way, such as providing a reliable source reference, then it behooves us to accept this and not try to attack that user. One way to attack is to use some flimsy evidence and say that person is a sock of Gaunkers so lets destroy any intellectual contribution already made. If the person admits being a sock, then the rules can be followed and punishment metered; I support that. On the topic of punishment, even that may be disallowed as blocking is to prevent disruption, not dispense out punishment. Overall, I am for strong action to enforce the rules but the rule to promote article writing exceeds the rule to attack others for sockpuppetry when there is very little evidence. I read an article today where Wikipedia is losing tens of thousands of editors because of fighting. Let's stop the loss! (That's why promoting article writing should be goal #1, not to say that goal #283 is not important.)

- Hello Suomi. There can be no reasonable doubt that this editor is Gaunkars. In my opinion it is not worth filing at WP:SPI because the matter is so obvious. The usual policy is that comments by banned users *can* be reverted, but often we don't bother, if it is minor. If he does not cause more trouble, most likely we would not even block the IP. about that deletion
look, this guy thought mike patton didn't do videogame voices, so he probbobly was thinking of GENERAL patton by mistake. he thought it was vandalism. i am just trying to make sure he doesn't get banned! 75.72.25.219 (talk) 16:42, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- How on earth can someone confuse a modern-day experimental musician with a temperamental, World War II war hero who died sixty-four years ago? If someone actually can do this, thanks a bunch, because they've just ruined my faith in humanity once more. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 16:52, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- hell, I didn't even know general patton was dead, and i'm a World Studies teacher! 75.72.25.219 (talk) 19:03, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- He was born in 1885, what did you expect? --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 19:04, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- hey, i never said i was the sharpest tool in the shed, did i? 75.72.25.219 (talk) 19:14, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe not, but I'd expect more from a world studies teacher. :P --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 19:16, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Dynamic Languages
The editor's edits were clearly intended solely to advertise her employer; her language, from the use of the plural "we" to the username she wanted to change to, made it clear that her only purpose in being here was to spam. Dynamic Language had been changed to a redir by another editor before I began to examine the topic. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:44, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Nevertheless, from what I read (though I don't tend to stray into business-related articles, so I can't say for sure), I thought the article had established some form of notability. With some help to avoid it being an advert, do you think it would be possible to get it into the encyclopaedia proper? If not, I won't push it, I'm merely curious. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 16:52, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, sounds like you have the proper NPOV here. I could userfy the stub into your userspace for you to work on, if you'd like. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:57, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- I could proofread it, but that'd be all I could do. I don't have any experience with articles on companies, so I wouldn't have a clue what I was doing. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 17:01, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

The article Dynamic Language has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No solid evidence of notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Orange Mike | Talk 19:34, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Did the warning happen automatically because I've contributed to the article, or did you place it manually? --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 19:36, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Placed it manually, since you added the hang-on tag. Heck, anybody can wikify by getting rid of redirects, redlinks, etc. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:40, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll do that in a short while. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 19:46, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
