Sweet friend, I can't possibly not thank you deeply for your moving words, which brought a small tears to my eyes. It is true, we haven't talked much yet; but you have truly proven to be special, and I'll never forget your kindness and your concern for me and my baby. Just - thank you, with all of me. I'll never forget this. Love, Phaedriel - 19:04, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Re. Portal Help
Sorry, I haven't been in the mood for portals lately (Portal:Basque which I created was just promoted to featured status and even that one I've been neglecting). Soon enough I'll get back to portals. Regards, Húsönd 22:43, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hah! Are you kidding, I've been editing far less than I wanted to! Too much wikibreak already. No rest for me! :-) Regards, Húsönd 17:48, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Erm, I'm not sure what you mean by "updating the "Read More" links". We don't have that in the portals I work in. I visited the portal and I'm still confused about your request. Regards, Húsönd 02:53, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Apologies
I shall make the effort to vote in a RFA soon. However I haven't had time to look at any candidates in depth, mainly because I have exams on at the moment and I'm spending a lot of my time revising. When I'm on here, which isn't much, I'm mainly helping out with the backlog as it's Gnome Week and I signed up to it.
Please give me a few days. Escape Artist Swyer Talk to me Articles touched by my noodly appendage 23:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your support and comments at my RfA | ||
Hi Random Editor, It still amazes me that otherwise "anonymous" editors take the time to place !votes and comments on RfAs. Whilst I would have normally thanked you at the time of you leaving your message, the importance of my not appearing to be canvassing prevented me from so doing. Now that everything has progressed successfully I can finally thank you. I intend to uphold a style of good adminship and will welcome your further comments at any time in the future, even if they are in the form of admonishment. I will be happy to help as an admin wherever and whenever I can --VS talk 22:56, 27 June 2007 (UTC) |
Karrmann's RfA
Hello. I've left a question for you at Karrmann's RfA. Happy editing! Yours sincerely, Eddie 15:25, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

My RfA
Thank you for participating in my RfA. It was successful, and I am now, may God have mercy on us all, an administrator. Look at all the new buttons! I had heard about 'protect,' 'block user,' and 'delete,' but no one told me about 'kill,' 'eject,' and 'purée.' I appreciate the trust the community has in me, and I'll try hard not to delete the main page or block Jimbo. -FisherQueen (Talk) 18:10, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Coaching
Hey buddy, just dropping by because I saw you had listed yourself with a request to be coached as an admin! I've seen you around the project here quite a bit, and am offering my services...if I am not too late. I am an admin myself, with 13,000+ edits and 18+ months of experience. If you have any questions or anything, don't hesitate to just give me a buzz and let me know! Jmlk17 06:00, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Nom
Hi Random,
I'd like to let you know that I really wouldn't like to be nommed right now. I'd like to just take it easy, contribute to the actual encyclopedia, and only to the project space sparingly, only for routine things, such as AfDs, etc., and not largely, like many have caught up in these days. I've realized that this is an encyclopedia, and therefore contribute to it. I've taken up WP:CHICAGO and intend to do most of my work there. I want to actually do some good here, not just be able to put down that my best contributions were contributing to AfDs, or RfAs, I want to be able to say that I've helped the encyclopedia by making X number of good articles, and de-stubbed this number of articles. The buttons are really just an added bonus when I've contributed to the actual encyclopedia, not a goal to be running at like many users. So, from this point on, I'll be contributing a lot more to the namespace. Thanks for understanding,

Hi Random!
Nice to see you (see?) back from your wikibreak. I hope it was great, but I hope you won't slack off in wiki work, will you (I know that you won't though)? Anyways, glad to see you back. H irohisatTalk Page 03:01, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Question about the policies
I was going over the wikipedia policies the other day, and stumbled along one, which was WP:NOT. In that policy, it talks about directories. What kind of directories are allowed and which ones aren't? I nominated a article for deletion the other day and it got rejected with almost a unanimous vote. H irohisatTalk Page 02:28, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your advice! I reread it, and I think I understand better now. Unfortunately I forgot what the article was named, so I can't bring that out right now.
- Also, sorry to bother you again, but what kind of images can be transfered from this wikipedia to the commons? I have been scavenging for images to put on Japanese train station articles in the Japanese Wikipedia, but they're not located in the commons. H irohisatTalk Page 22:05, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Re. Coaching
Hello Random Editor. Don't worry, I'll review you and Giggy as soon as I have reasonable time for that. Maybe tomorrow. Best regards, Húsönd 23:34, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- No, don't worry, I didn't think you were being pushy. :-) In fact, maybe I'll review you and Giggy later tonight since my pool game has just been cancelled. Regards, Húsönd 23:56, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- Random, as promised I've reviewed you today. I think that you're ready to launch an RfA, and I hereby offer to nominate you. However, I recommend it to take place by the end of this month. Just keep up the good work until then. I recommend increasing your vandalfight (and reports to WP:AIV), and more talk space participation (again, I suggest joining discussions listed at WP:RM). I see no cons so I presume that your RfA will be most successful. :-) Regards, Húsönd 01:31, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I'm sorry to bother you, but as a LoCE member, I just wondered if you would be willing to have a look through the Sheerness article. It is currently a Featured Article Candidate and needs a copy-edit for grammar by someone who hasn't yet seen it. Any other ways to improve the article would also be welcome. Thank you very much, if you can. Epbr123 12:24, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Keep up the good work!
Greetings! Thanks for reverting the Sonic the Fighters page so quickly after it was vandalized! I had put a lot of effort into cleaning it up, adding facts, and making it a more suitable article. I even have an RSS feed alerting me when the page is edited, and you happened to revert the vandalism before I even noticed! Noble work here, and I'm glad to have people like you on Wikipedia! My work
Hi Random,
I have been here on wikipedia for 3 months, and wanted to ask you how my article edits are. I've wanted a comment from a person other than myself, and improve on it. To say the truth, I'm too scared to go on a editor review, and wanted the adopter's review before I can try. Takk!(Thank you), Hirohisat Talk 06:42, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thankyou for your valuable comment. Yes, several people put {{unreferenced}} tags on some pages I created, and I rushed to get it referenced. Also, thanks for the advice during the adoption period. Not that I'm leaving wikipedia (H*** no!), your advices really got me out of disputes and other problems. I will try my hardest to by civil, and be a "gnome"---not being a brager who boasts and wants attention; and ofcourse having fun editing. Anyways, Takk fyrir!(Thankyou),Hirohisat Talk 06:19, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

And a great, big hug to make you smile! :)
I have to take care of my daughter for a while, baby, but please, feel free to email me and tell me what's making you sad. I'll be here if you ever, ever need a helping hand, k? Now give me a smile, sit down with me for a while, and tell everything to this older sis of yours :) Love, Phaedriel - 22:23, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Article Assesment
Hello, Random. I hope you're feeling better. I saw your recent contributions and saw that you were assessing articles for WikiProject Business & Economics. I do the same for WP:PUR, and I find it very hard to assess articles manually. Because of this, I looked around for help and found a script that makes assessing articles easier. If your using Firefox, just copy the following code to your monobook.js.
// [[User:Outriggr/metadatatest.js]] importScript('User:Outriggr/metadatatest.js'); assessmentMyTemplateCode = ["{{WikiProject Business & Economics| class= Start| importance= High}}"];
If you're not using Firefox, I pity you :-) If you are using Firefox, then the script will be very useful. You can find more information on the script at User talk:Outriggr/metadatatest.js. If you need help, please contact me. Happy editing! Hoping this helps, Boricuaeddie hábleme 00:25, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Glad it helped! Actually, the script doesn't include neither WikiProject Business & Economics nor WP:PUR. As the script page says, you can add the template for any WikiProject you wish, making it even more useful. Happy editing! --Boricuaeddie hábleme 01:48, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
