[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Karimganj district, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Do not make unilateral article moves. Request for page move RfC in the talk page. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you move a page disruptively, as you did at Sri-Bhumi district. Stop moving pages without page move consensus. Wikipedia article names are not dependent on Indian (or any other) government decisions. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:12, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The sources are enough to prove that the name has been / might have been changed, which is already reflected in the article lead section and infobox ("Sribhumi" as mentioned in most of the news sources). But a page move requires consensus. Unilateral changes are disruptive and not according to Wiki policies. Please go through WP:COMMONNAME also. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:20, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The rename is not yet been official. So the old name should stick for now.   Jor langneh (Talk) 17:24, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

SPI case

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SpeedyBlaster. Thank you. ⸺(Random)staplers 20:12, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Rang HD per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Rang HD. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
