Thanks for your offer, but personally I feel that there will be external factors hampering me. I won't mind going for a try, since I have satisfied most or all of the conditions for being an Admin, but I feel that these external, aggressive factors will possibly vote me out from being an admin anyway. Admin or non-admin, I'm equally being comfortable with both status. Thanks anyway. Mr Tan 02:26, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your deleted images

Unfortunately, because of some overzealous taggers and careless deletions, a lot of your images have been deleted. Things like Image:NDP 2005 F-16s.jpg was deleted, you should check your archives. Apparently the administrator who messaged you didn't check back at your talk page when you said it was GFDL, so you can you reupload them again? Thank you

Thank you for your vote of confidence in my recent request for bureaucratship. Even though it didn't pass, I greatly appreciate your support and hope I will continue to have your respect. Thank you! Flcelloguy (A note?) 23:02, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, you didn't sign your comment on the Jedi6 RfA. JoshuaZ 15:23, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for signing up for Esperanza admin coaching, and thank you even more for your patience. I have assigned Mailer Diablo and Shanel as your coaches. Greetings! I'll be starting the admin coaching quite shortly, but in the meantime if you need any assistance, don't hesitate to let me know! - Cheers, Mailer Diablo 13:09, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Esperanza Newsletter, Issue #2

The Barnstar Brigade is a new program aimed at giving more very deserving yet unappreciated users barnstars. It will officially start on 2006-04-09, but signing up is encouraged before this date:
"Here in Wikipedia, there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go un-appreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go un-noticed. Sadly, these editors often leave the project. As Esperanzians, we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. A project the size of Wikipedia has thousands of editors, so there are plenty of people out there who deserve recognition, one just has to find them. The object of this program is not to flood editors with Barnstars, but to seek out people who deserve them, and make them feel appreciated."
The Stress alerts program aims at identifying users who are stressed, alerting the community of thier stress and works in tandem with the Stressbusters at trying to identify causes of stress and eliminating them.
Information
Welcome to the second issue of the new format Esperanza Newsletter - we hope you still like it! This week, it was delivered diligently by our new dogsbody. MiszaBot (run by Misza13): any execution complaints should go to him. Content comments should be directed at the Esperanza talkpage. Thanks!
  1. The next elections: Approval voting as before and, also as before, an previous leadership member can run. Please submit your name for voting in the relevant section of this page. Voting starts on 2006-04-23 and ends on 2006-04-30. There will be three places up for grabs as KnowledgeOfSelf is leaving Wikipedia. Please see the previously linked page for full details.
  2. The Code of Conduct is now ready for extensive discussion! Specific comments should go to the Code of Conduct talk page, discussion of having one at all should be directed to the main Esperanza talk page.
  3. The current process for accepting proposals for new programs has been deemed fine. All Advisory Council members and the Admin Gen are to endevour to be bold when viewing discussion. If they feel that consensus has been reached, they will act accordingly.
A plea from the editor...
The propsed programs page is terribly underused! Please leave any comments, good or bad, on the page, to help us determine the membership's thoughts on the ideas there.
Signed...

Sorry, but I do not think that I'm ready for RfA yet. Perhaps in a few more months. --TBC??? ??? ??? 15:36, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your sig :)

Hullo there, not sure if you've noticed it or not, but your signature (specifically flag of Singapore and the link to WP:SG!) renders weird, somewhat like {{featured article}}, because it's set at top:0 and left:0... I've commented it out here, as it was carrying over to WP:RFA. :-) Jude (talk, contribs, email) 05:49, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My suggestion is that you remove the flag from your sig, and link to WP:SG! normally. (see WP:SIG and the section on images). NSLE (T+C)(seen this?) at 05:53 UTC (2006-04-10)
Remove the divs and try subst'ing {{titled-click}}. Jude (talk,contribs,email) 05:56, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, your sig spans many lines, and since you have a line break between your regular sig and the datestamp, with the datestamp having an extra space, it renders in a <pre> box. In any event, I hope this helps, and good luck. -Mysekurity [m!] 11:33, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

RE: Rfa?

Yes, I reluctantly accept this proposal. However, I would be surprised if I were to succeed in this nomination (for now). It is because I have only about 3 months worth of experience and the RFA process seems to be a unforgiving territory to be in! But, I will give it a shot and I thank you for wanting to nominate me!

P.S.: If I fail, I will strive to take my contributions to a higher level and learn from the other users' opposing votes. --Siva1979Talk to me 15:18, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A KISS Rfa Thanks

Thank you, I've been promoted. pschemp | talk 01:24, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Requst to post RFA.

I would like to give you the honour of posting my RFA for discussion. I have answered all the necessary questions to the best of my ability and hope to hear from you soon! --Siva1979Talk to me 16:03, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind! I have already posted my nomination for discussion. I thank you for nominating me and wish you best of luck for the future! --Siva1979Talk to me 16:24, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you!
Hello Tdxiang/Archive April to May 2006. Thank you for your support in my RfA! It passed with a final tally of 91/3/5. I am quite humbled and pleased by the community's show of confidence in me. If you need help or just want to talk, let me know. Cheers! -- Fang Aili 說嗎?

Thanks

Thanks for supporting me in my RfA. I really didn't think people appreciate my work here that much, but it's nice to see you do: my Request was closed with 66 supports and 4 opposes. I'll do my best not to turn your confidence down. If in any point in the future you get the feeling I'm doing something wrong, do not hesitate to drop me a line. --Dijxtra 12:00, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bot commands.

No offense, but please don't type so many commands to the bot in so short a time period. Less than 5 commands in 30 seconds would be good, otherwise you're going to flood it and make it ignore you temporarily. Essjay left the channel because he didn't like the flooding and I'm going to institute some kind of automatic flood control. Thanks. — nathanrdotcom (TCW) 12:07, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reply: Me, an administrator?

Hi there - although you aren't any more, you were, that day on the page [[Category:Wikipedia administrators]]. --RichardHarrold 17:28, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Singapore cabal

Of course I don't think there is a Singapore cabal (just many amazingly good SGpedians). I was just joking and pretending to believe the conspiracy theory of this cabal's existence and their plan to eventually take over all of Wikipedia. I certainly wouldn't oppose anybody at RfA on the basis of coming from Singapore (unfortunately I have never been there, but I'd really like to go). Happy editing, Kusma (討論) 15:23, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your Easter Eggs!

A nice surprise to receive those free-range eggs, thanks!

Why'z my IP get all this msgs of vandalism? I didnt do anything, really.--166.121.37.8 01:14, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Old Skool Esperanzial note

Since this isn't the result of an AC meeting, I have decided to go Old Skool. This note is to remind you that the elections are taking place now and will end at 23:50 UTC on 2006-04-29. Please vote here. Thanks. --Celestianpower háblame 20:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar

I humbly accept the barnstar awarded to me on 16th April 2006 - though I work here as working in the company of wikipedians is itself a reward. Thanks. --Bhadani 10:33, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, what more you would like to know? --Bhadani 10:36, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Userpage revamp

Sure, I'd be happy to help... if you fix the impersonal [[Template:Pagename]] you left me. ;) Before I start, could you tell me what color schemes, methods of organization, or other aspects of design were you thinking of? By the way, you might want to consider adding yourself here as well. Cheers, Sango123 (e) 20:22, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
