@Tater1211: First & foremost, we need a citation. Do you have a book, article, newspaper, or a birth record? Post the source here if you do not feel comfortable with creating a footnote. An online source would be ideal, but anything that someone use to reliably source the information would be acceptable as long as it is not questionable.

Second, we would need to include both dates at this point by including the 1905-01-04 date as a note. Other databases such as SNAC & the Internet Broadway Database have the date as 1905-01-04. It may be that those databases would correct the date if they were presented with the reliable & verifiable source(s). If you wonder where the 1905-01-04 date that Wikipedia uses comes from, see the references at the Sterling Holloway entry on Wikidata.

Sterling Holloway, Jr., the future actor, was born at 1:14 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 14, 1905, in Cedartown. He grew up at 301 College St., in a three-story, white frame house. He had a younger brother, Boothby, born in 1909. Though Boothby never shared Sterling’s passion for theater, the brothers were close for their entire lives. I think that with your lead on the familysearch.org source, I have been able to find two or three supporting citations.
