Michael Grubb (artist) page for deletion
[edit]I know this is my first article but I really hoped to write one on this person. Did I do a bad job? Pleasehelp! This person is a renowned artist and has won many awards including a international award out of 30,000 artists and is now becoming famous. I think I'm a bad writter? can anyone help to improve this?
- The problem's not with your writing, it's with the notability of the subject of the article. You claim that Michael Grubb is a renowned artist and has won heaps of awards, but there's no evidence other than things written by Michael himself. There needs to be independent verification, and it's very difficult to find any which supports these claims. Wikipedia:Notability (people) lists some of the usual requirements for a person to be considered notable enough for an article, and Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources explain about what sort of references need to be shown. If you can provide verifiable independent references for the article, then do so, and please comment about it at the deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Grubb (artist).
