Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, at Subhamss2008, has made edits that do not conform to our policies and guidelines and therefore have been reverted. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

You don't have to log in to read or edit pages on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask the Help Desk, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome! OnlyNano 19:16, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of chief ministers of Assam. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see the Introduction to Wikipedia, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: List of chief ministers of Assam was changed by Subhamss2008 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.950053 on 2024-06-16T05:21:02+00:00

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 05:21, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Mohan Charan Majhi, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. OnlyNano 18:47, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Mohan Charan Majhi. Ternera (talk) 18:51, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Indic script

[edit]

Information icon - Please do not add any Indic script, to any of our India related articles, as you did at Rourkela, and several other articles, as this contravenes WP:NOINDICSCRIPT - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 12:41, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to 2022 Odisha municipal elections. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:53, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How to make that draft article an actual one? Subhamss2008 (talk) 14:34, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
