Hi Stewart. I've did quite a bit of editing to improve Tessella late last year. However, now I wonder whether the company meets wikipedia notability criteria and be should be considered for deletion? Noticed this week that your talk page links to the article so I thought I see if you had a view.
In terms of notability, I can't find any media reports using google. I note too, that it's a small company, comparatively speaking, with turnover around GPB10m per annum. Although it's listed, the notability guidelines say that only a major exchange listing is grounds for inclusion.

Prusik
[edit]Your photos on the Prusik knot page are very well done, however I sure hope you don't use such an arrangement for climbing. Spectra and Dyneema melt at a very low temperature, and should never ever be used in a knot like a Prusik that has the potential to slide (some manufacturers say never tie any knot in it). Also, cord makes much better Prusiks since cord tightens around the rope when it rolls --- since webbing dosn't roll, it loses this advantage. And, enough 6 mm cord to make a pair of Prusiks is not very expensive.⇝Casito⇝Talk 17:05, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Climbing Techniques
[edit]Hello Stewart, I see that you haven't been active recently so I hope all is well, and that you can reply to this soon. I was hoping that you would consider modifying the Climbing techniques article with some of the revisions you have made on your own page, User:Stewartadcock/Climbing techniques. I think the lead and sectioning could be particularly useful, though I'm sure you will format your technique descriptions differently (probably similarly to the current article?). Anyway, I wanted to hold off before doing anything just in case you had something in mind, but the article doesn't have to be perfect before you make those much needed changes! Thanks for your work on this topic, by the way. WDavis1911 (talk) 21:24, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
