Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Doctor Zhivago (film). It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Maurice Jarre, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Bongomatic 08:28, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Bongo for your warning message. We are not interested in search engine rankings and we do not use Wikipedia for advertising or promotion. Magazzini Sonori is a state project, conceived to make the music played and recorded in Emilia-Romagna (Italy) available to all. We have added in-depht links in composers or opus pages, in order to enable people to listen to the music that pages are about. We have specific releasing for that. Magazzini Sonori is a project that agrees to MICHAEL Project. How could we give our right contribution to Wikipedia? thank you Stefania.saccani (talk) 08:46, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies. It is difficult for an non-Italian speaker to ascertain that it is not a commercial site. Interestingly, MICHAEL is published under a Creative Commons license. Is Magazzini Sonori also? Bongomatic 09:07, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, no problems. We are planning an english version of the site, we know it is not easy for non-italian-speaking people to understand our intentions. Magazzini Sonori collects and pubishes online recordings (full-lenght) from theatres, festivals or single musicians/bands in the Emilia-Romagna area. Everyone, living or operating in this area, can cooperate and contribute to Magazzini Sonori's archives, free from any commercial aim. Every audio file can be listened to in streaming and/or downloaded (with different kind of licenses, often Creative Commons, depending on the owner of the rights). Every audio file is supported with recording infos, author's and musician's biographies and other deepening files. Please feel free to ask more informations if you need. Thank you. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Ckatzchatspy 07:55, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
