[edit]Hi State Regulatory Authority! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Uluru Statement from the Heart that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Yutah123|UPage|(talk)✶ 00:02, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "State Regulatory Authority", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies shared use and that you work for a government entity. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. - it's not a name used or claimed by any entity anywhere in the world. In 3 words it sums up my area of scholarly and academic interest. WP:MISLEADNAME you've linked to doesn't in any way specially limit those who may work in government, or claim to, in their participation in the project State Regulatory Authority (talk) 05:56, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
Revert on Uluru Statement from the Heart
[edit]Hi there. I wanted to let you know that, unfortunately, I reverted one of your edits on Uluru Statement from the Heart because it was written in an editorial style. Wikipedia's policy is to avoid words like "tellingly" that impart an opinion. We try to write Wikipedia in an ecyclopedic tone that is factual and neutraal without personal opinion. Sorry about that. Feel free to ask to ask me or at wp:TEAHOUSE if you have any questions. (I'll also leave a link to Wikipedia's searchable manual of style. Best, -- Lenny Marks (talk) 01:31, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- Yeh bud. Don't act like you amended just one word there State Regulatory Authority (talk) 05:59, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- Not at all, and that wasn't what I meant to imply. I was giving an example of some of the things that caused the revert. I know having edits reverted is frustrating, so I'm sorry about that. When a revert is performed, however, it restores the earlier version from before the edit and does not discriminate between parts of the edit. In either case, it seems that the content is now subject to a talkpage discussion so I'll leave it to be sorted out there. Happy holidays -- Lenny Marks (talk) 15:35, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- over cover of amending an offending word you've removed all mention of the referendum being shot down in ALL the Australian states as well as the jurisdiction (Northern Territory) with by far the highest proportion of indigenous voters. Not worth memorialising? People see what you do.
- Indigenous Voice to Parliament is already converted to the past-tense, making it appropriate to treat the story of the rejected petition similarly. State Regulatory Authority (talk) 01:19, 26 December 2024 (UTC)

[edit]- You have been slow-motion edit-warring on Uluru Statement from the Heart. These edits are controversial. Do not reinstate them without establishing consensus for their inclusion on the article talk page. If you do not and instead attempt to re-add the edits to the page without discussion, you will likely be blocked. - The Bushranger One ping only 03:16, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- Also edits like this are absolutely unacceptable. Stop editing in this fashion or you will be blocked. - The Bushranger One ping only 07:08, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
