Picture of Owl Fisher
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I really appreciate your edits to the article on Owl Fisher -- they are fantastic, and make for a much better article. You've added some excellent information, with great encyclopedia style, and great referencing.
One thing that concerned me, though, was the image -- I see you identified it as your own work at Wikimedia Commons, but I think the image is originally from this article and may belong to Vogue. Are you the professional photographer who took this photo? If so, thank you very much for contributing it, and I hope you will consider adding some of your other photographs to Wikimedia Commons, it is really valuable to have professional photographers contributing! If not, however, I'm afraid the image will need to be removed, since it's not "fair use" to use a photograph of a living person in an article. (And Wikimedia Commons can't host "fair use" images.) If you didn't take it, please delete it from Wikimedia Commons. To still have a photo for the article, you could try contacting Owl, maybe on Twitter, to ask them if they would be willing to take a selfie and post it to Wikimedia Commons, and then we can use that. Sometimes people are surprisingly accommodating to these requests!
Thank you again for your excellent writing on the Owl Fisher article, and please let me know if you have any questions about the concerns I've raised about this image, or about editing Wikipedia generally. I hope you continue editing, since it's clear you have some valuable expertise -- I'd personally love an article on Iceland's Gender Autonomy Act!

Hi there!
Oh right, I see. I will try contacting Owl on social media and see if they can supply us with a photo, or if the person who took the photo (or other photos of them) is willing to upload the picture to the Wikimedia Commons. Thanks for pointing this out, I'll be in touch with what they say!
Thanks, S
