[edit]Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Louis-Charles Damais, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. EuroCarGT 04:45, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
- A quick tip on team playing for User:EuroCarGT. By all means seek to help new editors contribute consistently with Wiki norms, but remember two things: (1) your own criticisms and tastes are subject to countercriticisms and opinions; (2) all Wiki editors are presumed to be equals: volunteers, not experts.
- In this case, it looks to this middle aged academic as if one undergrad with good intentions has scared away a genuine contributor. So I'd recommend: Be careful with editing text, but be extra-careful "editing" editors. Treat everyone as though they are your superior, let them surprise you pleasantly if they find your assistance to be valuable.
- This is an issue all over Wiki, let's see if we can change the culture. Feel free to disagree with me, at Wiki you and I are equals. Best regards. Friedrich Müller (talk) 02:55, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
