Titles of translation in portuguese wikipedia
Dear Soman,
In the portuguese-language wikipedia, I suggested, in the respective talk pages, to change the translation of the Cypriot DISY from "Unificação Democrata" to "Aliança Democrática", and of the Austrian FPÖ from "Partido Libertário da Áustria" to "Partido da Liberdade da Áustria". What do you think?--MiguelMadeira (talk) 00:57, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, I think that's perfectly fine. --Soman (talk) 07:05, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

Renaming Former trade unions cat
Hi. Good idea with changing the name. I've previously thought that renaming the category to 'Defunct trade unions' would make more sense, particularly as the current formulation, when it is applied to the Former trade unions by country categories, sort of makes it sound as though the unions have changed nationality eg. Former British trade unions. Warrenjs1 (talk) 10:13, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of United Left for Cusano Milanino
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on United Left for Cusano Milanino requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. → Airon 00:55, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- Be that as it may, Soman, I just ran into something you should know about. de:Rosenhügel-Filmstudios has something on the English wiki as a redirect to Vita-Film, but that article has nothing on the period 1945-55, when the Soviets ran it. I just wrote a little stub for Karl Paryla, and you'll find a reference to this book in there: a treasure trove. There's a bunch more beside Paryla, and a ton of movies without articles on Wikipedia. Happy editing, Drmies (talk) 02:58, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:EPRDFsymbol.PNG)
Thanks for uploading File:EPRDFsymbol.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:10, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
