File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Jeddah Central Development Stadium.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 07:30, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

File:Aramco Stadium.jpg

[edit]

Hi Socceroos TV. You didn't provide a copyright license for File:Aramco Stadium.jpg when you uploaded it, and it has been tagged for speedy deletion per WP:F4 as a result. It looks like you might have intended to license the image as non-free content because you seem to have provided a what looks like a non-free rationale for the file's description. If that's what your intent was, you probably are going to need to provide a better source for the file since direct links to images are not always helpful when assessing help copyright status; so, if you can supplement the direct link with a link to an article/post on the same source website showing the image being used, then that will help in the assessment of its copyright status. In addition, if you did really intend to upload the image as non-free, the license template {{Non-free proposed architecture}} and the non-free use rationale template {{Non-free rationale}} could be used if you want. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:54, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, use the non-free proposed architecture template. My apologies. Socceroos TV (talk) 22:28, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
For future reference, you can just replace the other image licensing related tags with {{Non-free proposed architecture}} license or whichever copyirght license you want to use on the file's page, but you should also try to find better sources (as I explained above) in addition to direct links for whatever you're uploading. -- Marchjuly (talk) 23:57, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
