A belated welcome!

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, SoapfanHTB456! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Publisher

[edit]

Hey, I hope you are doing well and having a lovely week! :) Well done on creating Matthew James-Bailey - it looks great! I was going to give you another cookie but I did not want to clog up your talk page as you did not reply to the previous one, in case you're not a fan of WikiLove appreciation messages (which I know some people aren't).

I just wanted to let you know about the "publisher" parameter in citing sources - this is for the publisher of the website, not the author. So for example, the publisher of Digital Spy is Hearst Communications, the publisher of Radio Times is Immediate Media Company, the publisher for What to Watch is Future plc, etc. The author's name should not go there.

You should be very proud of your work! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at all or if you need any help! :) DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 04:23, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I really appreciate the support and thanks for correcting me with the publisher parameter :) SoapfanHTB456 (talk) 07:02, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Kyle.sivvenxo per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Kyle.sivvenxo. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
