Interesting comments on Amdahl's Law
[edit]Dear Sneftel, you have removed a sentence from Amdahl's Law page with the comment (rv controversial claim without a reliable source). The sentence was added based on a scientific study published in a paper by a recognized faculty at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. May you please describe your definition of "controversial claim" and "reliable source" in this context. Thank you, — Preceding unsigned comment added by AbeAlshareef (talk • contribs) 04:21, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
- Sure! I said "controversial" because the rest of both articles describes the two laws as distinct and even in competition. As for "reliable sources", you can read about the basics of that at WP:RS. A single non-peer-reviewed paper strikes me as falling short of that standard. It's possible, though, that there are better sources for the same claim which followed the initial publication. Thanks for reverting my edit on "Porphyria"
