Question

why did you change the citations for Sheehan and Kenton? they don't have to be impartial, just reliable Skitzo (talk) 19:06, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

WP:sources states that "Articles should rely on reliable, third-party published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy." meaning that sources should come from if possible a third party. Each of the clubs web-sites are not a third party and are also prone to being biased in favour of their own club. WP:Sources also refers to WP:NPOV for further information on sources and content for articles in Wikipedia. Since the BBC is impartial when it comes to both Leeds United and Leicester City's affairs then I felt with these policies then the BBC page was a better source for the page than a link on either Leeds or Leicester's official pages. Speedy deletion of Alex Cisak

A tag has been placed on Alex Cisak, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. robwingfield «TC» 19:39, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello. The article Alex Cisak has been speedily deleted under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion as a recreation of an article deleted following deletion discussion, here. If you believe that the original deletion was out of process, you may wish to discuss it with the closing administrator, User:Kurykh. If he or she disagrees and your concerns persist, you can bring it up for community review at deletion review. Please do not recreate the article without substantial changes that address the concerns raised in that debate. Persistent recreation of deleted material is likely to lead to the title's being protected, which will only make it more difficult to establish an article on the individual if notability can at some point be demonstrated. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:07, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
