If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Rajgir Hockey Stadium requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from url blacklisted, refer to copyvio report by earwig's copyvio detector.. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Linking to disambiguation pages

[edit]

Please take care not to link to disambiguation pages like Nivia as you did at Transport United FC: check that all your links go to the page you intended. There is an easy way to avoid linking to disambiguation pages: if you go to "Preferences", "Gadgets", and look under "Appearance" you'll see "Display links to disambiguation pages in orange" towards the bottom of the section. Select that tickbox, and whenever you Preview a page you'll be able to see whether you've accidentally linked to a disambiguation page. Thanks, and Happy Editing. I am citing reliable sources just don't undo it dude Sid Prayag (talk) 14:34, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What reliable source? You added a generic link to the main page of the club's website, unless you add a non-primary source (media reports etc.) which confirms that Nivia signed a contract with the club in 2017, and that "Bhutan Pelyab Tours And Treks" and "Chhundu Sawmill & Jaypee" are club's sponsors, it will be removed...and no, you cannot look at the kit's picture and cite this as a "source" because that is WP:OR, you need an actual reliable source to verifiy this. Snowflake91 (talk) 15:06, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
will their official announcement on their pages work? Sid Prayag (talk) 15:13, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Geniac. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Aishwarya Nag, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Geniac (talk) 04:37, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Luis García (footballer, born 1979), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IST. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:56, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

December 2024

[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Bajrang Dal, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 19:00, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Bajrang Dal did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! — Newslinger talk 02:53, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes sure I have undid and added it now. Sid Prayag (talk) 15:45, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Sid Prayag! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Bajrang Dal several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Bajrang Dal, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 17:23, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

is controversial unclear versions of articles are allowed?
If no as i know
then my edit is in the line Sid Prayag (talk) 17:35, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The warning message I have given is a standardised Wikipedia message which explains what is wrong with your edit and how you need to address such issues. Please read it carefully and follow the advice given. Over and out. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 13:09, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

2025 World Weightlifting Championships

[edit]

Hi there and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed you recently created several articles related to the 2025 World Weightlifting Championships. However, the articles contained very little information and no sources, likely because it is too soon to create the articles. As such, I have blanked and redirected the articles to 2025 World Weightlifting Championships for the time being. You (or someone else) may recreate the articles from the current redirects when reliable, independent sources are available. Let me know if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns regarding this matter. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 00:03, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Heya she/her.. Well thank you
Felt a bit sad because it took a lot of time to create those coz of changing whole temp and all sooo yeah
Buttt yeah thank you for contributing to it Sid Prayag (talk) 17:15, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I totally understand! Please note, however, that when the information is available, you will not have to redo all that hard work. To recreate an article from an existing redirect, you can follow these steps:
  1. Look in your contributions, where you can still see all the articles you created for the 2025 World Weightlifting Championships.
  2. When you find one, such as 2025 World Weightlifting Championships – Women's +87 kg, click on it. You will likely be redirected to the 2025 World Weightlifting Championships.
  3. At the top of the 2025 World Weightlifting Championships page, you should now see "(Redirected from 2025 World Weightlifting Championships – Women's +87 kg)". Click that link. This will show you the page for the redirect.
  4. Click "View history" at the top of the page.
  5. While in the page history, you should be able to "undo" the edit where I blanked and redirected the article to the 2025 World Weightlifting Championships page. This will publish your previous edits to Wikipedia. Please do not do this unless you have reliable, independent sources from which to write the article. From the page history, you can also look at the article you created by clicking the timestamp to the left of your username.
I hope this helps and can reduce your sadness! Let me know if you have any further questions, comments, and/or concerns. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:36, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yess it helpedddd!! Thank youuu Sid Prayag (talk) 17:52, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:2025 in women's weightlifting indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. plicit 01:01, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
