I edited out the portion which made it look biased and partial/commercial/marketing. How is this not constructive? I fail to understand.

If you bothered to fact check any of my edits, which you didn't, you would see that they are all justified. That page is a mess and many films listed on there are user applied with no citation whatsoever. Deleting content without evidence to refute existing content, is obvious vandalism. WP:PRESERVE states that existing content should not be deleted without good reason.
