Nicosia...
[edit]I would suggest getting a life and stop acting as an idiotic extremist vandalising the Nicosia webpage. Unless of course you wish to be dragged to EU courts fairly soon and you shall be if you continue like this...and the price and jurisdiction trust me will be quite dire... You shall be accused for: racism, violation of EU laws (freedom of speech, ...acting as a propaganda instrument of illegal self-proclaimed terrorist states etc etc). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.56.129.248 (talk) 00:02, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
Varosh - Edit
[edit]Hi , I reinstated one of the links that was removed from Varosha , I see that you have now removed this. Can I ask why, I think the link is valid and is benefical to the wiki page as the page also contains an indepth report on Varosha.Hanham123 (talk) 15:53, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- Mainly WP:LINKSPAM, I also found no mention of 'an indepth report on Varosha', not to mention the relevance of a car hire website. Have a good read of WP:LINKSPAM, so you won't make the same mistake in the future. Seric2 (talk) 16:27, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- I have read wiki spam, I don’t see any issues here. I was written by friend as we both live in Cyprus and visit the area of Varosha regularly. I took the photos and did the editing. The page in question leads to further pages within the site including a personal account from a family we interview who was forced to leave.

I have reviewed Links normally to be avoided under External Links and don’t see any issue. Hanham123 (talk) 17:49, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- Will reply soon, very busy Seric2 (talk) 20:32, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
- First of all sorry from the late reply, been busy and traveling. This [1] is much better. Still seams more like self promotion, if it's reliable and no one has any objections, not going to stop you Seric2 (talk) 21:48, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
U.S. Consulate attack in Benghazi
[edit]I do not understand why you have removed an external link added by me to the article U.S. Consulate attack in Benghazi and without even an edit summary. Next time please observe better WP guidelines and norms of practice. All the best. --E4024 (talk) 12:11, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- You provided a external link for a completely different event. I can see your point, however I don't see how this one example is relevant to the U.S. Consulate attack in Benghazi Seric2 (talk) 13:41, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- My point is, another henious attack on a US diplomatic mission that killed the Ambassador. --E4024 (talk) 14:16, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- First of all I completely understand your point. However there are many other examples of ambassadors killed in office, Laurence Steinhardt, John Gordon Mein, Cleo A. Noel, Jr., Francis E. Meloy, Jr., Adolph Dubs and Arnold Lewis Raphel.Out of all of them you seem to be singling out this one event. Why not mention any of theses ambassadors? Seric2 (talk) 15:23, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Limassol Castle, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Genoese and Church (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

FYI
[edit]Hi Seric2. I just happened to see this. I find it laughable but here you are. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 00:41, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, thanks for the heads up, probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Never been accused of being a sock before, I wonder what made him (I assume) think that I was? Anyway, thanks again for the heads up! Seric2 (talk) 14:41, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- It was my pleasure, if not my wiki civic duty to properly notify a respected editor of his name being used in such a manner. As far as the motives, they fit into the category of 'discredit your opponents by any means'. Unfortunate. Best regards. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 18:10, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately there's more: here. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 12:51, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hmmmm, over the past couple of days I have been trying to avoid any kind of confrontation with E4024 to somehow show that I do not agree with Findblogging, or any of his/her potential socks. I've only been making small corrections and what I would consider cosmetic changes. A I said this has never happened before, I am unsure how to proceed. I'm not even sure if it would be appropriate for me to make a comment in theses particular talk pages, but at the same time I want to alleviate any concerns they might have (such as pointing out edits such as this one). I've been on Wikipedia long enough to know that socks are a bad idea. If you resort to imposing your POV against the majority, then it's more then likely that your the one who might want to reconsider your position. Wikipedia is a truly global community, that includes users form different beliefs, nationality, sexual orientation etc. To incorporate all of this into Wikipedia, there needs to be discussion even on the most mundane of subjects. To impose your reality by creating socks, I find that offensive. After all, it's not about being right, it's about doing right. Wow, I think I might have gone a bit off topic there... Thank you so much for the continued heads up! Don't suppose you'd be would be willing to give me any advice if you were in my position? and I sincerely hope you never are. Thanks Seric2 (talk) 13:51, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Seric. You don't have to alleviate anyone's concerns that you are a sock. These bungling accusations against a good-faith and longstanding editor such as yourself are just that. Clueless accusations without merit. You have nothing to be apologetic about. If nothing else you deserve an apology from your detractors. If this continues there are options for you to consider, among them is a report at ANI. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 16:00, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Finally I found some free time to wright this, sorry it took me so long. I thought it would be easier to have any kind of discussion hear, rather then spread out over various different pages, hope you all don't mind. First, I wanted to ask E4024, what makes you think I use socks? Was it because of this, or this. Just a general curiosity, I'm interested to hear when and why and also the socks you think I use. And also feel free to ask any questions, why did you make this edit, why did you revert this, and so on. I rely do know where to go from here, you have your suspicions and that's fair enough. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. It would be nice to hear what you think. And also a special thanks to Dr.K., for your continued support and advice! Seric2 (talk) 17:19, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- Don't mention it Seric. It was a pleasure on my part. You see, not only I know you for a long time but I also happen to respect you as an editor. It would be unconscionable of me not to try and help you when faced with these ridiculous accusations. If you have any further problems you know where I am. :) Take care. My sock claims
[edit]You can always speak directly to me. There are only very few users not welcome to my TP, who I hope know themselves. Just be kind, not merely polite, that is enough. BTW "Findblogging" was a confusion and I cleared it where I had to. However, I do have suspicions you are using sock puppets, that is true... All the best. --E4024 (talk) 14:05, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Now that you have cleared the "confusion" of Findblogging have you apologised to Seric about Findblogging and for your canvassing of admins that he is a sockmaster and for not notifying him of your actions? Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 15:58, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- And when you tell Seric that when he speaks to you: Just be kind, not merely polite, that is enough. do you think you are being either polite or kind to him by telling him: However, I do have suspicions you are using sock puppets, that is true...? Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 21:23, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
