Writing about Sednaya Prison in the past tense

In response to my comment about the Sednaya Prison article being written in the past tense, you make an interesting comparison with the Wikipedia articles about both Alcatraz and Treblinka also being written in the past tense, when both these places have both become museums or tourist attractions, which is what appears to have also happened with Sednaya Prison.
