Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Santryl! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 2 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Elza Kephart - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Salvatore Totino - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 21:21, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

I've deleted a significant portion of this article, as you copied it from the Department of Finance press release. That is plagiarism and a copyright violation - please don't do that. Mindmatrix 19:17, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Cult Classic Films

Your new category is practically a textbook example of subjective categories that should not be created. For example Category:Cult films was previously deleted. - Jason A. Quest (talk) 14:57, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:36, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi Santryl. I've come across your new article on a short film, Mayfly, but it appears to be poorly sourced. As you may know, Imdb is not considered a WP:RS and the only other ref is a homepage. I see you are an experienced editor... Do you have any other sources as to this short film's notability? Please reply here, as I have watchlisted your page. Thanks! Jusdafax 14:46, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

I must admit that since the movie has not yet been released I have not been able to find any information pertaining to it. As information becomes available I will update the page.l santry (talk) 19:33, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I have since gone to the directors web page and watched part of the short, therefore it must be released (I stand/sit corrected). The director strikes me as being someone to watch. He takes on the difficult dilemmas that society struggles with. However, if the the mayfly page offends you I will remove it.l santry (talk) 17:35, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Ray's Hell Burger

An article that you have been involved in editing, Ray's Hell Burger, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ray's Hell Burger. Thank you.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. City of Destruction (The Celestial City) 23:47, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

  • Hey, thanks for commenting on my talk page, that's exactly the right place to comment. Sure, no worries, notifying involved editors is pretty standard for deletion requests. I hope you enjoy editing articles on Wikipedia in the future, and if you ever have any questions or queries, please don't hesitate to ask me or another of the site's editors. What's important in Electronics?

  • I contributed an article on "Parasitic oscillations" because it was on WP wanted articles list.

You told me the article is not important.

  • You asked me to participate in the Electronics project.

I shall be glad to oblige, I have experience and knowledge and resources, and I worked with some of the best in the field.

  • However: can you please tell me what subjects are important or requested by WP in Electronics?

Maths rating template

When you add the {{maths rating}} template to a page, please take the time to fill in all three of the assessment parameters: class, importance, and field. The maths project already has a list of mathematics articles that does not rely on talk page tags. The only reason for the {{maths rating}} tag is to carry assessment information, and there is no reason to add this tag simply to mark an article as related to mathematics. — Carl (CBM · talk) 02:44, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Cats

Thanks for adding the categories and working up the talk pages for new aritcles. Take care. Freakshownerd (talk) 20:04, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Romanian Rugby union

Hello! Thank you for adding the categories, but the article (2010 Divizia Naţională) is about the Romanian RUGBY UNION championship (2010 edition) :). You added the categories for the Moldovan SOCCER championship... :) Anyway, thank you for your intervention! Cheers, Fastardul (talk) 15:56, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated Lisa M. Hansen, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lisa M. Hansen. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Weaponbb7 (talk) 20:42, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I am an inclusionist. I think that you have already put in an enormous amount of effort to this article. How to go about saving this article is on the discussion page. I would appreciate your comments. --JHvW (talk) 18:40, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Nurith Aviv, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://nurithaviv.free.fr.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. A Day at the Zoo

That video cover is from a different cartoon, a 1941 Fleischer entry called "Two For The Zoo", featuring their character "Gabby". It's possible they included the 1939 cartoon in that video, but its cover contains nothing related to the 1939 Warner cartoon. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots05:13, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:DeepRiverTheIsland2008.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:DeepRiverTheIsland2008.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 04:18, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Films with Bela Lugosi

Hi. I've reverted your good-faith edits by adding the category to those pages. We don't cat films by who starred in them. Please see discussions in the archives of WT:FILM and WT:ACTOR for more. Thanks! Lugnuts (talk) 17:31, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
