Use of non-free files

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically List of political parties in India, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 12:50, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Second Siddaramaiah ministry, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:47, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit

Hello @Sachin126, You made a edit at Next Indian general election and altered with images. Do you really think that you have fixed image size issue. I would request you to compare the images before and after you edited. When I left the page every image would look in one size to readers. But when left it have a look. Are they all equal? If you get that you made a mistake please self revert. Shaan SenguptaTalk 06:08, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Shaan Sengupta, Maybe you haven't checked your edits on Laptop or Desktop. Open Next Indian general election from your Laptop or Desktop and check the history of your edits, you will see how irregular the image size was. I have kept all the images at 150x150px size, haven't made one image bigger and another smaller. It is for Wikipedia to fix that image size issue in mobile. Also, if you use image with more pixels then it will look bigger in mobile too. Thanks, Sachin126 (talk) 07:09, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok @Sachin126. I got your point now. I didn't know about this. Is there a way we could ask Wikipedia to fiz size issue in mobile? Shaan SenguptaTalk 07:56, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Shaan Sengupta, Thanks for understanding. I too don't know whom to contact and how to get this issue resolved. I am hoping for Wikipedia to fix this issue on their own. Thanks, Sachin126 (talk) 09:23, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Don't remove party legend

[edit]

Don't remove party legend. If it hasn't been declared write TBD. Cross Indian (talk) 07:02, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Don't assume and add parties without any references. Once official announcement is made you have to revert those back. It's a complete waste of time. Sachin126 (talk) 07:06, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox election

[edit]

@Sachin126

What is the reference of what you have said in your recent edit remark in 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election? Ritwik Mahatat@lk 17:16, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reference is 2019 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election. JLKM has zero MLAs where has Mahagathbandhan led by JMM has 47 MLAs and NDA led by BJP has 30 MLAs. There are many parties registered in India, we cannot add all of them in 'Infobox'. Parties should have some amount of representation in assmebly to be added in 'Infobox'. Sachin126 (talk) 18:00, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Sachin126
Let me clear my question. My question was about the reference of needing MLA to be in the Infobox election.
Till now JLKM has announced 53 candidates for this election. Ritwik Mahatat@lk 18:16, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If any 10 parties announce 53+ candidates, should we add all of them in 'Infobox'? Having some amount of representation in assembly is the criteria to be added in 'Infobox'. Sachin126 (talk) 18:26, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Sachin126
Here the case is not this.Till now only two parties have announced their candidates in 50+ assembly constituencies. Ritwik Mahatat@lk 18:32, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@RITWIK MAHATA
Annoucing 50+ candidates won't make them main contenders. Let them win some seats in this election and have representation in the Jharkhand assembly. Then they will be added to Infbox in the next election, no one will oppose it. Sachin126 (talk) 18:39, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
