DYK for Borges and mathematics
On 30 March 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Borges and mathematics, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that "The Aleph" in Jorge Luis Borges's short story is an allusion to Cantor's cardinality of transfinite sets, demonstrating the influence of mathematics on his writing? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Borges and mathematics. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Cal Wikipedia
Heya SPat!
I'm glad you're interested in getting connected!! I just made a number of contributions if you'd like to check them out. I created and am still evolving UC Berkeley financial aid and University of California finances, and cleaned up #University finances of the UCB page.
Regarding your interest in meeting other contributors with connections to UCB: getting in touch with the current Wikipedia Campus Ambassador at UCB might be a good first step.
Cheers,
