Disambiguation links
Hello... sorry to tell you this, but I have reverted your removal of Highlander links from several disambiguation pages. Barring a decision to remove all episode links, there is no reason to remove just the ones for Highlander. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions about this - thanks! --Ckatzchatspy 16:55, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- As per your reply, yes, please stop your "shamefully disruptive behaviour ;D". The last thing Wikipedia needs is someone like you who insists on cleaning up, organizing, and generally making an concerted effort to improve the place... (grin) Thanks for the note; my thought is that Highlander - while long since out of production - is still as valid a link as any of the other ones on the respective pages. It is not a big deal, but I think we would need to look at whether or not to include television series in general rather than just removing one particular series. Cheers. --Ckatzchatspy 18:18, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Banners on redirect talk pages
Re: I see your point. Our problem is, there are a LOT of Highlander-related redirect pages (more, I believe, than actual articles, templates pages and categories put together). I feel we should keep track of them, though I admit my attempt was feeble ;D Is there any other way for the project to do this ? Anyway, thanks for mopping after me, and the kind words, and have a nice day. Rosenknospe (talk) 13:07, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- The "What links here" link for each article will tell us where the redirects are. e.g.[1] Wryspy (talk) 19:13, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
WP:HL
The shortcut you made leads to somewhere else, (Hebrew Languages). I found this out when I was about to make it when I first created our WikiProject. That's why I didn't put it. What else can we use? How about "WP:HIGH" Stormin' Foreman Got something to say? 16:13, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- Update: I got permission to change the shortcut. The "WP:HL" shortcut now belongs to our WikiProject :-) Stormin' Foreman Got something to say? 18:51, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Video links on Highlander
Hi, First, I would like to thank you for your work on all the Highlander-related wikipedia pages. The information is accurate, thorough and informative.
I have been adding links to the Official Online Highlander Episodes from Hulu at the direct request of Peter Davis. I am running new media and online marketing for Davis-Panzer Productions.
We feel that providing Wikipedia users with the ability to watch an episode online for free is certainly a valid link use of Wikipedia. It provides users with a service they will value and might not have otherwise known about.
Regardless, I would very much like to speak with you about a potential position with Davis-Panzer Productions. Is there an e-mail address where I can reach you? Please e-mail me at newmedia@davismerchandising.com.

Heh, no problem
I almost screwed it up due to extreme tiredness. And now that I think of it, the histories probably don't need to be merged, seeing as nothing was really changed. Ah, who cares, might as well let it go through the process, which incidentally may take a while, as no admin seems to want to touch the history merge category with a ten foot pole. I don't blame them really, it's a complicated process and easily messed up.
Anyway, I've forgotten why I was even typing this, I think my brain is melting. --Closedmouth (talk) 16:51, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Great Job
The Highlander episode list is looking great and congratulations on your hard work being noticed and the FA process! Hooper (talk) 17:59, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

My pleasure. It's not actually all that complex for a task an administrator to complete, since some of the extra tools that we have make it a lot easier. Bearcat (talk) 22:35, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Re:Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Highlander: The Series (season 1)
Okay, I'll take another look at it in a bit, but I won't support (or oppose) because I'm one of the featured list directors and I try to avoid taking a stand in FLCs unless it's really necessary. -- Scorpion0422 14:56, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Your recent AIV report
Hey, there. Thanks for your recent AIV report regarding 141.209.239.170 (talk · contribs) (full report visible at this oldid). For the time being, I've semi-protected Roger Daltrey, Roger Taylor discography, and Roger Meddows-Taylor. Feel free to let me know if this continues to be a problem, or to submit reports/requests at WP:AIV, the incidents noticeboard, or at requests for page protection, as needed. – Luna Santin (talk) 11:11, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Immortality
What advertising have you found there? No links to pay services or any goods. I've given Western people a very important information, which can save their lives. Don't touch it, please. If something doesn't match the rules, we can correct. But why delete everything? It's an act of vandalism speaking in your terms. --God to You (talk) 15:43, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your message on my talk page. I understood why you removed the work originally, as it was undocumented (unsourced) [that material had been added by an anon. IP editor]. After seeing your edit (referenced in your message on my talk page), I looked for the work (to see if it might actually exist) and found some sources to verify that it does. But I do understand such problems because earlier editors of the article have simply lifted material from the subject (Dyer's) Website and not documented it with other sources. The article still needs additional reliable sources. If you are planning to continue working on the article, I'd appreciate your commenting on the talk page of the article instead of on my talk page in the future, but I do appreciate your heads up on my talk page this time nonetheless. Thanks again. --NYScholar (talk) 20:28, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Highlander
Thanks for that. :) I've been reorganizing Category:Film series templates all night. Sometimes I go into it with a plan. Tonight I didn't really. So I had to double back a few times. So I created Category:Fantasy film series templates and put Highlander in there. Should work. Thanks for the catch. :) --WoohookittyWoohoo! 10:43, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Stephen Moyer
He was born Stephen John Emery in 1969. This can be verified by anyone with a subscription to Ancestry.co.uk. See "England & Wales, Birth Index: 1837-1983." The birth year of 1971 is wrong on IMDB, but right on other sites like Rotten Tomatoes. Recent interviews in TV Guide and People both give his age as 39, i.e., born in 1969. I would like the change to be made on Wikipedia, but am not good at citing references!Ravenscroft32 (talk) 12:02, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your nice message! Here is the link to ancestry.co.uk for official records of births in England & Wales, 1837-1983: http://content.ancestry.co.uk/iexec/?htx=List&dbid=8964&offerid=0%3a7858%3a0

Hi! Thanks for fixing my links on the above article - it's been a while for me, and I think I need to brush up on syntax!
Regarding the reference to "Men with Guns", this one isn't actually the one CKR was in. There were actually 2 films released in the same year (1998), a John Sayles movie set in Mexico, which is the one the article is about, and this Kari Skogland b-movie which is the one that CKR was in. This second film doesn't have an article as yet, and based on the scarcity of information, is unlikely to have one for a while, but the link isn't currently pointing to the right place. (I know IMDB isn't the most reliable source, but there seems to be agreement that the 2 films exist, although the Skogland one is reported as being released variously in 1997 and 1998 - US/UK releases, perhaps?)
Thanks again,
Kate
PS. Your (and your colleagues') work on the Highlander articles is great, especially the Duncan MacLeod timeline - I didn't even know we had one of those! That's my reading for this evening, then... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.10.75.84 (talk) 21:01, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
All That Glitters (TV series)
Thank you for taking the time to peer review this article. I think I've mined the available sources pretty clean but will certainly try to find additional resources to address your points, but I am wondering, assuming that no additional information is available, would you list the article as GA if it were nominated in its present form? If not, can you give me an idea of what specifically you'd need to see before listing? Thanks. Otto4711 (talk) 19:27, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Michael Tritter
Hi there, I would like to thank you a lot for peer reviewing my Michael Tritter article. Even though you are, so far, the only reviewer who took time to do so, your points are good and clear. I think I've fixed all of your points, and it would be fantastic if you could take another look, of course, don't feel obligated or anything.
Cheers. --Music26/11 21:09, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
