A tag has been placed on Ron Sword requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Ron Sword. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.
Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.
If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. Mr. Vernon (talk) 22:38, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- I happened to add a note to Mr.Vernon's talk page, and I saw some comments. I completely agree with his assessment of this situation, and I made comments on his page. Please cease your attempts to create this article. Timneu22 (talk) 23:33, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- And please don't make pithy comments on my talk page. I do know what microtonal music is, I listened to a lot of Stockhausen when I was studying music theory. --Mr. Vernon (talk) 23:38, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- Not really a relevant result for "ron sword" and microtonal, is there? Timneu22 (talk) 23:40, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- Nothing I can find. Though I've always been more of a twelve-tone man myself. Time to spin up "Moses und Aron." --Mr. Vernon (talk) 23:43, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Mr. Vernon (talk) 23:45, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- Also, you asserted on a talk page that there are red links referencing Ron Sword. I checked and there are not. --Smashvilletalk 23:48, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: User talk:Timneu22. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I also highly suggest you refactor your assertion that you will continue to disrupt Wikipedia until your article is posted. Smashvilletalk 23:50, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
