Pending changes reviewer granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Los Angeles Temple Edit
Citing the manual of style for justification, which is incorrect in this case, does not make your position correct. It’s very simple: there is no church in the United States that is registered or incorporated by the name “Latter-day Saint Church”. The style guide of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at https://newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/style-guide clearly states the following: “While the term "Mormon Church" has long been publicly applied to the Church as a nickname, it is not an authorized title, and the Church discourages its use. Thus, please avoid using the abbreviation "LDS" or the nickname "Mormon" as substitutes for the name of the Church, as in "Mormon Church," "LDS Church," or "Church of the Latter-day Saints." When referring to Church members, the terms "members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints," "Latter-day Saints,” "members of the Church of Jesus Christ" and "members of the restored Church of Jesus Christ" are preferred. We ask that the term "Mormons" and "LDS" not be used. "Mormon" is correctly used in proper names such as the Book of Mormon or when used as an adjective in such historical expressions as "Mormon Trail." The term "Mormonism" is inaccurate and should not be used. When describing the combination of doctrine, culture and lifestyle unique to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the term "the restored gospel of Jesus Christ" is accurate and preferred.”
Nevertheless, it is a well-known fact that the Church will not pursue efforts to correct abuses toward it, so people that want to refer to the Church by whatever nickname they want know that they have free rein to do as they please. I clearly don’t possess the Wikipedia geek power that you do that allows you to ensure that Wikipedia continues to use nicknames that are offensive to members of a church that you don’t like. Just be aware that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has had enemies, critics, and detractors since 1830, and contrary to weakening it, that fact continues to strengthen it. ETO Buff (talk) 20:15, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
- @ETO Buff: Thank you for expressing your viewpoint. Please know that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (see my user page), so I absolutely believe the prophet when he gave that counsel a year ago. If you believe that I am an enemy, critic, or detractor of the Church of Jesus Christ, or that I don't like the Church, I respect your views. If you feel that the references to the Church here in Wikipedia should be changed, I invite you to bring it up at the Latter Day Saint WikiProject talk page or the talk page for the Church's article. I am willing to initiate the conversation if you prefer. Thanks, Rollidan (talk) 02:53, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
Can I get your help?
I very much respect the work you have done to make Wikipedia NPOV. I've worked quite a bit on the article: Book of Joseph (Latter Day Saints). I was wondering if you can take a look at it, and help me to make it as NPOV as possible. I realize it is a charged subject, and I have my own biases that I've tried to hide as much as possible. Rollback granted
Hi Rollidan. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until {{{expiry}}}. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! N.J.A. | talk 12:32, 25 August 2019 (UTC)

Your closing of AfD Comment
Hi, you recently closed Wockenfuss Candies as a "keep" as a non-admin closure. I do not agree with you actions. Non-admin closures are not intended for "close calls" and not only was this not suitable for a non-admin closure, it should not even have been closed as a "keep" but possibly as a "no consensus" instead. I did not comment on this AfD but having examined the sources, not a single source meets the criteria of WP:NCORP and many of the reasons provided by the Keep !voters such as "I added some references", "It has references from reliable sources", "there is also coverage", etc, not only fail to address specific policies/guidelines in their reasoning, but do not address the nom's reasoning for deletion in the first place. Please relist this article again for closure by an admin and I intend to also respond to this AfD and I will provide reasoning which each and every reference fails WP:NCORP guidelines. Thank you! HighKing++ 13:27, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- @HighKing:, thank you for bringing up your concerns to me. In my view, I followed all of the proper procedures at AFD. There was a clear consensus in favor of keeping the article, and almost all of the comments were policy based, mentioning WP:GNG and WP:NCORP. The nominator also agreed in the AFD that it would be closed as keep. As such, I see no need to reopen or relist the AFD. If you continue to have concerns about the article, you can bring them up on its talk page. Best wishes, Rollidan (talk) 00:31, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
- In circumstances where the nominator "agreed" to close as a Keep, I could understand how you reached that decision. But the nominator did not agree and you can see was expressing frustration at the process and stated "but that doesn't matter because this article will be kept". The nominator addressed the addition of other sources by stating that the references were run-of-the-mill and local, neither rebuttals were addressed. At the very least, this AfD should have been relisted to allow more comments on the sources that were added since the AfD was opened. Please reopen the AfD and relist and I will provide an analysis of each reference to show how it meets (or not) the criteria for establishing notability. HighKing++ 11:03, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
- I have relisted the AFD per your request. I only want to add that I did so going against the consensus in favor of keeping the article. Best, Rollidan (talk) 17:25, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, I appreciate that. HighKing++ 17:26, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Wockenfuss Candies. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 17:33, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
