Preview Request

[edit]

You can help other Wikipedia contributors by using the Preview button instead of the Save button when you are making many changes to an article, such as your edits to Angela Melini. When you are finished and you are satisfied with all of your changes, then use the Save button. This will help future editors in reviewing the edit history when necessary, because making many changes and saving each one clutters up the edit history of an article and makes it difficult for editors to review the history. Thank you. ●DanMS 01:35, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Exotic (magazine)

A tag has been placed on Exotic (magazine), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Betaeleven 19:08, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Luann Lee Headshot PM198701.JPG

[edit]

Hi, can you clarify in what sense Image:Luann Lee Headshot PM198701.JPG is self-made as you claim? Did she pose for you like that and you made the photo? Lucky chap, you. -- If it's just something you extracted from somewhere, like a movie still, it doesn't count as self-made, I'm afraid. Fut.Perf. 09:05, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same for:
Since the self-made claim to all this seems extremely dubious to me, I'm speedy-deleting these (out of process) to save us all more work. On the off-chance that you can plausibly explain you are really the photographer, I'll be happy to undelete them for you. Fut.Perf. 09:13, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re Image:AngelaMeliniBookCover.jpg - sorry, you can use a bookcover image under fair use only in an article about the book. Unless you have some sourced "critical comment and analysis" to make about the book cover as such, it can't be used in the article on the model. Fut.Perf. 23:50, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Sandee Westgate, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Sandee Westgate is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Sandee Westgate saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. RJASE1 Talk 22:32, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not recreate the article on Sandee Westgate as it has been deleted through an AFD (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sandee Westgate). Recreating deleted material is regarded as vandalism, and may lead to a block from editing Wikipedia. Bjelleklang - talk Bug Me 10:51, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello RobertAhearn! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 5 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Sam Phillips (model) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

[edit]

Would you mind adding a source to the Peggy McIntaggart for the information that you just added to it. Thanks, Dismas|(talk) 23:12, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, I see from the article history of the Bob Seagren article that you don't have a source. I've therefore removed all mention of the relationship. Dismas|(talk) 23:39, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
