OBRIGADO

[edit]

I don't speak your language at all, but I can understand it very well, since my mother tongue is Castillian and I speak French and I studied Latin a millenium ago.

I found an article about that actress in your language and that's why i put it in Portuguese Wikipedia, I saw you're such an active wiki, so if I need your help I won't hesitate to ask you things:)

Thanks again

I recently made it so it could work in fr, de and sv wikipedias, it does not have full functionality for languages that are not english though. In the future it may function on more languages. Martin 13:52, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Convite

[edit]

1 abr. --BBird 20:55, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oi Rei artur. Obrigado pelo convite. Mas sugiro que voce use um template menos chamativo/colorido. Alguns usuarios podem se sentir incomodados :-) Talvez um paragrafo de texto e alguns links bastem.

Um abraco! Claus Aranha 06:03, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Olá, obrigado pelo convite. Eu contribuo essencialmente na en.wikipedia.org porque é mais completa, e as minhas contribuições são sobretudo pequenas correcções porque não tenho tempo para efectuar mudanças de fundo. Jlsilva 15:30, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Collaboration

[edit]

Hey rei-artur, My name is adrian lopez denis (aldenis) and I proposed the wikiversity logo “learning together” (number 14th). I am writing you to suggest that we team up to refine this logo for the second round. I think that your idea of a simplified world reader (version 12) is excellent and your skills as a graphic designer are very high. I also like the font you used. Would you consider modifying this logo to make the idea of global collaboration a little bit more explicit? I put together a basic sketch to show you what I mean, but you can surely make it much better. Here is the link: [2] Let me know what you think. You can reach me directly at aldenis@ucla.edu, or at my wikiversity talk page: [3] I read Portuguese and Spanish is my mother tongue, so feel free to use either. Thanks! wikEd

The wikEdlogo

Hi, I have seen that you are using the Cacycle editor extension. This program is no longer actively maintained in favor of its much more powerful successor wikEd.

wikEd has all the functionality of the old editor plus:• syntax highlighting • nifty image buttons • morefixing buttons • paste formatted text from Word or web pages• convert the formatted text into wikicode • adjustthe font size • and much, much more.

Switching to wikEd is easy, check the detailed installation description on its project homepage. Usually it is as simple as changing every occurrence of editor.js into wikEd.js on your User:YourUsername/monobook.js page.

Maps

[edit]

Your country locator maps are really great, and much better than the older ones. There has been an ongoing discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Countries about the problems with the older maps and the EU specific ones, and I think your maps would be ideal as a new standard. I hope you continue working on them, and that we will soon have one for every country. - SimonP 21:31, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your request at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Rei-bot has been approved for trials, please see the page for infomration. When trials are complete, please post the results and link on the bot page. — xaosflux Talk 04:47, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your bot

[edit]

Can you please explain why your bot made this edit? Is there a reason I don't see, or is it making mistakes? —Dgiest c 08:32, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The reason in this edition, is not a mistake of the bot. It de:Seelöwe is a disambig and the en:Sea Lion isn't, for this motive m:pywikipediabot it removed the interwiki, they are not the similar.--Rei-artur 19:01, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bot issue

[edit]

The bot re-adds interwiki links after blaking (this edit for example), thus making previous vandalism harder to detect (the last edit would be that of a bot, often hidden in watchlists). Could this be circumvented? --Qyd 20:40, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ola! I have recently seen that you have been editing and making excellent maps for different countries. I would like you to ask you if you will be able to make a map for Somaliland which includes all the major cities and the capital. I hope you answer my query.

Abdullah Geelah 21:04, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bot problems.

[edit]

Your Bot keeps adding 'ca:Mini' to the English Mini article. However, the 'ca:' article called 'Mini' isn't about the Mini car but appears to be about some chemical compound. So I reverted the change that the robot made - but it keeps coming back and doing it again. I really don't want to have to keep reverting every time you run the bot - so could you please stop it from doing this. Just because two articles happen to have the same name in different languages doesn't mean that they are about the same thing! Thanks! SteveBaker 13:59, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the problem was in ca:Mini, somebody placed interwiki wrong, I already corrected articles to prevent futures errors. best regards --Rei-artur 16:05, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another bot problem

[edit]

Hi, the English article Lourenço Marques is about the Portuguese explorer, whereas the Portuguese article of the same name is about the city (i.e. today's Maputo in Mozambique), which was named after Lourenço Marques. I removed this interwiki link. Not sure, but maybe there is an article about Lourenco Marques, the explorer in the Portuguese wikipedia? --Dassiebtekreuz 00:03, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

the problem is solve, I removed the interwiki of wiki:pt.--Rei-artur 18:33, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

maps

[edit]

Hey, I was wondering if you could help me with how to get maps that are free to use on wikipedia. I want to add maps to so many pages, but don't know the protocol. Thanks! Murderbike 00:39, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hello

[edit]

Hi, I've noticed you're an expert in vector graphics, so I want to ask you: could you please convert the Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, RTP1 and RTP2 logotypes from png to svg? The source images are here: [4].

best regards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.152.219.143 (talk) 19:45, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New version is under 1 meg. Old version was nearly 2.76 as you didn't delete the nations that weren't shown. You cropped them out, but left the objects themselves in.

BTW: I noticed that when I used your map as a basis for the map data in File:Flight Information Regions for Italy.svg, but I really would have preferred more resolution in the map layer. Do you know of a higher res map of Italy? I don't need any local administrative areas. Just a basic map of the nations in the region in my map will suffice if it is accurate. I just don't feel like tracing what I see in Google Earth. Will (Talk - contribs) 12:41, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
