Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Rdav1193, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Sierra Kusterbeck, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. I have nominated Sierra Kusterbeck, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sierra Kusterbeck. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ArcAngel (talk) 08:38, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your article was put up for deletion, but the nominator was nice enough to agree that it should be moved to YOUR "userspace" instead. Please, when you create any new articles, create them in user space first.

Example: User:Rdav1193/NAME OF ARTICLE instead of NAME OF ARTICLE .

This will make it less likely your contributions will be deleted.

Once you have developed the page, and ask other editors with more experience what they think, you can then move it from User:Rdav1193/NAME OF ARTICLE >>> to >>> NAME OF ARTICLE

Again, this will help avoid deletion. Ikip (talk) 18:00, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article incubation

[edit]

Hi. I notice that your article, Sierra Kusterbeck was moved out of the encyclopedia and into your user space. If you don't object, I would like to move this article to the Wikipedia:Article Incubator, a new project that facilitates the development of articles up to Wikipedia standards without being under some threat of deletion.

What I'm proposing is this: I will move User:Rdav1193/Sierra Kusterbeck to Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Sierra Kusterbeck. In that location, it will be brought to the attention of many editors who can help improve it so that we'll be able to move it back into the proper encyclopedia soon.

Please let me know if you object to this for any reason, or if you have any questions or concerns; pending that, I'm going to go ahead and get it to the incubator. Thanks for your contribution. GTBacchus(talk) 20:37, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
