POV on Second Superpower
[edit]You realize that everything I copied and pasted was directly from the "Second Superpower" article page, so how is it POV... It has citation and everything.Phead128 (talk) 04:54, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Blue Water Navy
[edit]Your vote is needed here, I already note you previously agreed but a vote is now in order as I seem to have been reported by Bcs09, Thanks. G.R. Allison (talk) 19:39, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

where to participate in the deletion discussion of the 2011 Chinese protests page
[edit]i saw your comment on the talk page of the 2011 Chinese protests page. You should read the arguments already at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Jasmine_Revolution_in_China and give your main opinion (e.g. delete or keep) plus your main arguments and make sure you sign ~~~~. Whoever eventually decides to close the discussion will mainly focus on Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Jasmine_Revolution_in_China and may not notice your comment on the talk page. March 2011
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to 2011 military intervention in Libya. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Why did you remove the mission pictures? Marcus Qwertyus 18:39, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Superpower
[edit]There are 3 images on the Superpower page: One shows Gorbachev and Reagan (which is entirely appropriate), and the other two are blatant pro-American propaganda; one showing a massive US flag at the New York Stock Exchange and the other an American aircraft carrier. If their inclusion is compulsory the images belong on the United States page or the I Love Myself page or the God Bless America and nowhere else page. B. Fairbairn (talk) 06:25, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
OrphanReferenceFixer: Help on reversion
[edit]Hi there! I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. Recently, you reverted my fix to Globalization.
If you did this because the references should be removed from the article, you have misunderstood the situation. Most likely, the article originally contained both <ref name="foo">...</ref>
and one or more <ref name="foo"/>
referring to it. Someone then removed the <ref name="foo">...</ref>
but left the <ref name="foo"/>
, which results in a big red error in the article. I replaced one of the remaining <ref name="foo"/>
with a copy of the <ref name="foo">...</ref>
; I did not re-insert the reference to where it was deleted, I just replaced one of the remaining instances. What you need to do to fix it is to make sure you remove all instances of the named reference so as to not leave any big red error.
If you reverted because I made an actual mistake, please be sure to also correct any reference errors in the page so I won't come back and make the same mistake again. Also, please post an error report at User talk:AnomieBOT so my operator can fix me! If the error is so urgent that I need to be stopped, also post a message at User:AnomieBOT/shutoff/OrphanReferenceFixer. Thanks! Changes to Royal Navy
[edit]Hi in connection with you last comments on talk:Royal Navy. I did suspect there was something not right. For a new supposed new editor they know their way around a bit to well. Jim Sweeney (talk) 19:26, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
Brazil and UK GDP
[edit]Hello QVB, I have reverted your edits on articles Brazil and UK, regarding both nations' placement in terms of largest domestic economies. As I said in the Brazil article edit summary, using official estimates from the IMF is a far cry from acting as a crystall ball; in fact, these estimates come from economic monitoring the IMF does all-year long, so it's not just an educated guess. In fact, Wikipedia uses these IMF estimates (along with population estimates) in all countries' infobox, so, applying your criteria, we would have to eliminate all that information, as well as the content of the List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal), which is entirely made of estimates from leading, competent international organizations. Disambiguation link notification for April 20
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Main battle tank, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Challenger II (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:22, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
UK great power status
[edit]I'm afraid they're still trying to get rid of the mention of great power status in the United Kingdom article, or at least water it down. Seems like a typical POV attack by a number of editors (though they pretend otherwise). We may need some assistance from other long-standing members to sort this out. David (talk) 23:51, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Hello, I could use your input at the Royal Navy talk page. Some editors are trying to remove any mention of the Royal Navy being a blue-water navy or a global force. Thanks and I hope you get this in time!Osama is Obama (talk) 17:04, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
