Jameel Sewell
Hi, i changed under the "Jameel Sewell" page the 2008 QB to Riko Smalls because i read that he was the new QB in a newspaper. I went ahead and changed it back. Thanks
I saw that Riko was going to be playing for the Cavaliers from the "Roanoke Times", he's coming from Texas, he was invited up to UVA and was announced as the new QB, UVA was left with Peter LaLich and 2 other scholarship QBs, they called Riko, and invited him up, and he accepted to go to UVA and be the QB, I'M RIGHT —Preceding unsigned comment added by Superwhitekid (talk • contribs) 22:13, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Stop fucking changing the QB position, I know what i'm doing

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jameel Sewell. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. - Philippe | Talk 23:04, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't disagree that you did a lot of things correctly. What you did incorrectly was to revert the page more than the alloted 3 times. If you read Wikipedia policy at WP:3RR, you'll see that the 3 revert rule is an "electric" fence - in 99% of cases, it automatically triggers a warning. I know it's no consolation, but the other party got one too.
- The warning is just that - a warning. I didn't issue any blocks because I think it's possible to work this out with it. I'm sorry you think the warning is unfair - and frankly, i agree that you've been the more mature party in this - but it would be horribly negligent of me to warn one party for violating the rule and not warn both. - Philippe | Talk 23:32, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Media Studies at UVA
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have started an AFD on Media Studies at UVA; I agree that it's fairly unencyclopedic. I could make an argument that it's nothing but advertising but it's sufficiently borderline that I wanted wider community input. Good catch, thank you. - Philippe | Talk 18:54, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

- I didn't call you a vandal. I said that I didn't find the above vandalism to be funny, as you implied it was.--Agnaramasi (talk) 19:54, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Its mincing words to say that I contributed vandalism and not call me personally a vandal. Please stop. Queerbubbles (talk) 21:13, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- What are you talking about? I never even said you "participated". Stop being so paranoid.--Agnaramasi (talk) 22:09, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Please tell me, then, what you were refering to when you said you didnt see anything funny about vandalism? There was nothing of the sort in the past few posts in that section. I was making a joke of the fact that everyone in the news media sees her "downfall" as a trainwreck, and I was breathing humor into a pretty sad thing. Previously, I had written that she should not be considered a "former" pop start until she was either formally retired or dead, whichever came first, and no one made a comment about that being inappropriate. This could have easily been solved if you had simply explained who and what you were calling vandalism. Queerbubbles (talk) 22:42, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Please consult WP:Talk page#Formatting if you do not understand how talk page comments are structured with indents; if you properly interpreted the pattern of indentations in my first post, you would see that it was a direct response to the original poster's inappropriate use of the talk page as a forum for calling Spears a "train wreck" and for generally being disrespectful to other editors. I interpret that original post as bad faith vandalism. You subsequently defended the post by claiming it is humorous. Hence why I would suggest that I do not share your view that the above vandalism is funny. If you had read my posts more precisely, this entire misunderstanding could have been avoided.--Agnaramasi (talk) 02:00, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- You are being overly snarky and rude with your responses, and its not warrented, appropriate, or necessary. We are handling our issues in an adult manner. Please dont marr your thoughts and this discussion with such childish behavior. Thank you for showing exactly what you were describing. Also, please dont spout out policies about indents. After we had had a converstiaon over things, anyone would have assumed that your comments were towards me. This matter is now closed. Thank you. Queerbubbles (talk) 10:31, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

godoy
if he competed even once, even in one match, at the olympics he is considered notable at WP. DGG (talk) 14:49, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, im removing the others. Its just such an obscure person with an obscure team who didnt even finish that far ahead. It seems like its just taking up space. Queerbubbles (talk) 14:50, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- No problem! Thanks for doing so. I know about these problems. But for examle have a look here: Leopoldo Contarbio, Edward Radcliffe-Nash, or Thomas Scott-Ellis I started very small stubs and other users were able to enlarge these articles. Or the other way round with Jacques Forestier or Mehmet Ali Aybar here I was able to add their Olympic career. This is why I love wikipedia - everyone can add what he knowns. I'm specialised on the Olympics. Kind regards and :) Doma-w (talk) 15:13, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
UVA WikiProject
Unfortunately... I seem to be the only one who really does anything with it... it's tough to recruit people as there are rules about advertising outside of the talk pages... so I have got a bit disillusioned since I created it. I think it could be viable... we just need active memebers. If we start working together... maybe it can become active once again. Jazznutuva (talk) 10:28, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Oops...
...you're right. I think I pasted the wrong bot template. I'll take a look-see soon. Thanks for the help! Best, --PMDrive1061 (talk) 19:21, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
LOL! Yeah, you're right. It's pretty hard to stay away. I managed to do it for nearly two years. Drove myself nuts as an administrator, but I gave back the mop and bucket. I've cleaned up a few articles to parse over to Veropedia and added a few short articles as well. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 19:24, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Phineas and Ferb Running Gag?
Hi, umm I know you talked to the person who erased the running gag section, do you think it is considered vandalism or no? I'm not very sure and I checked the vandalism section, but I just want to know what you think, so I can send him another warning? Please leave a message for me on my talk page if you want to contact me. Thanks.--Yenaldooshi (talk) 22:27, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- I undid it because he ended up removing the entire section without any discuss on the talk page. If it was valid, it should have been taken up there before the removal or at the very least written in the edit summary. I dont monitor that page. I generally dont bother myself with children's cartoon articles. I also know how to reply to talk pages... thank you. Queerbubbles (talk) 23:51, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- I read the talk page for Phineas and Ferb and I didn't mean you, I meant the IP User.--♥ Yenaldooshi ♥ Benwolf ♥ (talk) 21:21, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
It's update
I am updating the article and making room for comments to be added to improve the article. Nothing is lost. Don't worry. Everything is there in the page itself.Chanakyathegreat (talk) 13:44, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- If it is an update, and are doing major work then put on a "work in progess" or "under construction" template tag. Also, adding an edit summary is a good idea. I hope you have discussed your edits on the talk page.Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 13:51, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Will take care of that. Don't worry.Chanakyathegreat (talk) 13:49, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not worrying, I'm recent changes patrolling. It was a major change, which was reverted by someone else before me. There were no edit summaries, therefore it seemed to be removal for no reason, which is vandalism. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 13:51, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Britney FAC
Just thought you should know that despite your reversion of the talk page edit, Britney is now up at WP:FAC. Let me know if I can help. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:20, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Half the talk page disappeared... I undestand that Oprah was trying to do something, but it ended up clearin the page, so I reverted it and left her a message to try it again. Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 19:23, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, understood, but there's a WP:FAC out there now... The Rambling Man (talk) 19:50, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Re: Britney's Talk Page
Crap. I think I hit some weird key combo and then pressed ctrl+z. Sorry about that. Perhaps in future when I preview my edits I should look at the entire page instead of just the part I edited :).Save-Me-Oprah(talk) 19:26, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oh no... no problem. I knew it was something simple like that. Dont worry about it, a good percent of my edits come back garbled... and I cant figure out why. Thank god for undo, though... yeah? Queerbubbles | Leave me Some Love 19:28, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Haha yeah really. I don't know what I'd do without my good friend undo. Save-Me-Oprah(talk) 19:31, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
thank you!
I just created my first article & am still finding out how to do stuff (tutorials only help so much w/ a luddite like me). Thank you for your formatting assistance. It all looks much nicer now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Themadblonde (talk • contribs) 17:51, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
every little bit helps!
& I need all the help I can get. I want to hit the library today & find some more of her older books, get some better bio info from them to add. Poor woman's written over 30 decent crime novels over 38 years- she deserves a wiki entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Themadblonde (talk • contribs) 18:15, 4 March 2008 (UTC)--Themadblonde (talk) 18:18, 4 March 2008 (UTC)themadblonde (still learning)
