Speedy deletion nomination of Chiesa della Santissima Trinità (Alcamo)

[edit]

Hello Pugliesig,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Chiesa della Santissima Trinità (Alcamo) for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. David.moreno72 16:23, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion

[edit]

Hello, thanks for all these articles! They make me remember the last time I visited Italy and wish I was back there now.

However, you might want when you create articles to add tags on the talk page so that working groups on topics, or "WikiProjects" know that these articles have been created and can help improve them. So on this church article I've tagged it for attention from the Roman Catholicism, Italy and Architecture groups. Those projects also have discussions, like this one for the Italy project where you can ask for (or give!) help. Hope that is useful to you. I've tagged all your recent articles with tags that seem relevant. Blythwood (talk) 17:15, 5 October 2016 (UTC) Hi, sorry. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ignazio De Blasi (historian) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Sebastiano Bagolino. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Hello, Pugliesig,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Associazione Amici della Musica (Alcamo) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Associazione Amici della Musica (Alcamo) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ex Jesuits' College, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gethsemani (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:11, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Monte Bonifato

[edit]

Eebahgum (talk) 19:03, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers

[edit]

At the English Wikipedia, an edit like this at Alcamo gives wrong results. Here, 12,345 means twelve thousand three hundred and forty five. That edit changed the population from over 44 thousand to a little more than 44. Please fix. Also, I don't know about those particular template parameters, but some of them do not work with a formatted number. For example, 12345 might work but 12,345 might give an error. Indeed, Alcamo is showing an error in the infobox at the moment. Johnuniq (talk) 09:51, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
