Proposed deletion of Wellspring Learning Community of Beirut
[edit]The article Wellspring Learning Community of Beirut has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A search for references failed to find significant coverage in reliable sources to comply with notability requirements. This included web searches for news coverage, books, and journals, which can be seen from the following links:
Wellspring Learning Community of Beirut – news, books, scholar
Consequently, this article is about a subject that appears to lack sufficient notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Abductive (reasoning) 05:01, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Wellspring logo.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Wellspring logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Skier Dude (talk) 23:48, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Help request
[edit]Hi, I added several citations from local press to establish notability. Also, I have used the logo with permission, but I don't really know how to cite it.
Why are you again trying to delete this article, when the are many articles on schools with no references at all in Wikipedia? I'm feeling a little persecuted. {{helpme}}
--Psmeers (talk) 07:27, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, as far as I can see the article was not proposed or nominated for deletion. As to the logo, please understand that due to legal reasons, our non-free content criteria is quite limited. (I understand that you wrote "used with permission", but in all likelihood they would not agree to distribute the logo under CC-BY-SA or a similar free license, which is required.) So instead you'll need to put up a fair use rationale and a licensing tag. For an example, see File:Cu-shield.png. Tim Song (talk) 07:36, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
