Hi, please can you help. I am trying to establish for certain whether or not C. R. Cooke reached the true summit of Kabru in 1935. The text of the obituary that you reproduced strongly indicates that he did; but several authorities claim that he did not. In particular, the summit labelled "North Peak" on some maps is not the true high point; the true high point is further north. Assuming that he traversed over two summits, then he must have gone to a peak further north than this "North Peak" and almost certainly did reach the true summit.

If you can help me prove that he did reach the summit, then I would very much appreciate it. What would be really useful would be access to copies of the panoramic photographs that are mentioned.
