Try to see it my way!

Frustrated by the comments, edits, and reverts of another user? Remember, behind that sig line is another human being, just like you! And just like you, that person wants to see his or her ideas come to life on Wikipedia.

If you feel yourself getting angry, hurt, or frustrated, explain yourself in a reasonable way and politely ask that others involved in the conversation do the same. But do not expect everyone to agree with you. Differences of background and opinion are part of what makes Wikipedia so great!

Hello, Playtimeallthetime,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Meatsgains and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Ryan Russell (presenter), for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Meatsgains}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Sources needed for Days of the Year pages

[edit]

You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages are no longer exempt from WP:V and direct sources are required for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages. Thank you. September 2019

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Toddst1. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Billy Dee Williams, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Toddst1 (talk) 11:33, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sprout's Snooze-a-Thon moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Sprout's Snooze-a-Thon, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I have sent you a note about a page you started

Your draft article, Draft:Sprout's Snooze-a-Thon

[edit]

Hello, Playtimeallthetime. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Sprout's Snooze-a-Thon".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 18:35, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sources?

[edit]

Hi Playtimeallthetime, you've received several notices over the last few years re: adding unsourced content, which you've ignored. You can start adding WP:RELIABLE to your recent edits, or they will be removed. If you continue adding unsourced content, you may also be blocked from editing. Thank you, 2601:19E:4180:6D50:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 22:11, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Good Night Show, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 06:22, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
