[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Wind in the Willows (TV series) has been reverted.
Your edit here to The Wind in the Willows (TV series) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx6900_OEGKH6Il6kc89fvA/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:05, 17 October 2020 (UTC)
Hawley and his planned objections
[edit]I disagree with your reversal. Please take it to Talk. Hawley has been criticized for his plan by Republicans in both houses of Congress because they have indicated they feel he is grandstanding in preparation for a presidential campaign in 2020. This is a complex, high profile and very unusual situation. Please let me finish my edits as well. Activist (talk) 19:30, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- You messaged the wrong user, I reverted your edits. The edits you added have massively cluttered the article, aside from clear WP:NOTNEWS violations present, the information you added is often unhelpful in understanding what is occuring. The basic summary provides ample information for the reader, further action when it is taken may lead to fruther edits and possibly an entire article on its own. Until then, nonconsequential opinions like Ben Sasse or the U.S. Senator from 2004 is not beneficial. MyPreferredUsernameWasTaken (talk) 19:33, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
Sorry, I'm just confused. The only thing I did on Hawley's page was to change 'Ginsberg' to 'Ginsburg'. Was there some sort of error here? Just wondering. PlaneCeiling912 (talk) 22:44, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
June 2021
[edit]When editing an airport article and adding dates, please make sure you use the correct date format as shown in WP:Airports. For example, use “begins July 28, 2021” or “begins 28 July 2021” (depending on where in the world the airport is). Do not use the format of “begins July 28th”, as you most recently did with Keflavík International Airport. Thank you! VenFlyer98 (talk) 08:47, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

Aeroflot Flight 542 moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Aeroflot Flight 542, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disambiguation link notification for September 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2009 Aéro-Frêt An-12 crash, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Congolese. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:55, 7 September 2021 (UTC)

Cut and Paste Moves
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Aeroflot Flight 4076 a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
