West Hills
[edit]Thank you for bringing to my attention the reinsertion of "affluent" into the lead of West Hills. I have since reverted the edit. It appears as though the editor who reverted my edit also wanted "affluent" to be in the lead of Sherman Oaks. As you mentioned, it was decided that "affluent" is a subjective, empty word. Adjacent communities
[edit]Hello. I find it very disheartening that you are removing the "Adjacent communities" section from many Los Angeles Neighborhoods articles. It seems that WP:Consensus is that the sections can be used but that they should be placed at the bottom of the page with the other WP:Navboxes. Can you tell me why you are deleting them instead of simply moving them? I might even agree with you if I knew your reason. Sincerely, BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 23:14, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 4
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Beverly Grove, Los Angeles, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fairfax District (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

- I have reworded sections of "history" and added other citations. I have gone through and removed distinct phrases such as "books-and-vinyl pop-ups". Instead of listing all the traffic calming changes that LANI was making, I added another citation about the bike lanes and new crosswalks that the councilman dedicated. I hope these and other changes I made are sufficient. The only thing I left was: mentioning that the Los Angles Times called the neighborhood "graffiti spattered" and "shabby". I have citations for both those words and placed them in quotes. If that is not allowed, please let me know and I will replace them. Phatblackmama (talk) 19:50, 2 August 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:His image represents the official logo of the West Adams Neighborhood Council.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:20, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

Editathon in WeHo Saturday if you are in LA
[edit]Hi. I just removed the 600000 [citation needed] templates on Beth Chayim Chadashim, and noticed that you had done the same in 2017. (You also added sources; I did not -- I just added a tag to the top of the article.) Then I looked at your talk page and realized you are probably in LA. If so! Come to the edit-a-thon/Wikipedia Day celebration on Saturday if you can! It would be great to meet you and it would be great to have experienced editors there. (Feel free to add to the list of articles to be created or improved - we are focused on WeHo and Los Angeles.) Thanks! JSFarman (talk) 16:46, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
