Ack!
Oh no! That's what I get for staying off-wiki so much. :( I totally missed your birthday, and here I was just thinking about talking to you the other day too! *begs* forgive me? *snf* please? pretty please? with ice cream on top?
Anywho, hope you had a good birthday, and everyone at home is doing okay! :D ~Kylu (u|t) 19:31, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Need a little Assistance
Hey Phaedriel, I am having a little trouble with User:NE2 who is changing all the Virginia State Route wikilinks from "Virginia State Route X" to "State Route X (Virginia)", a link which just redirects right back to "Virginia State Route X", so it's a pointless redirect.
He continues to cite WP:USSH, which says that the article and links should be "Virginia State Route X" and the title should be "State Route X"...ie: [[Virginia State Route 277|State Route 277]]. I have told him of his error and what WP:USSH says, but he continues to revert these changes back. I have asked for "other articles" where this is done, but he has shown me none. If you could take care of this, I would appericate it. It is really in violation of WP:MOS as well. Thanks and Take Care....NeutralHomer T:C 03:59, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Re: Thank you! :)
Thank you for the piece of cake, glad you had a nice birthday with your family. Cheers! umdrums 05:12, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Dear Sharon
As you recall, I accidentally addressed you by a different name. So my cat has offered to you, Sharon, the pleasure of scratching his belly to make up for my mistake. Enjoy! -Yancyfry 06:26, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Cheers!
For the lovely cake, Sharon, you are too nice! :) Dfrg.msc 07:45, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
It's August!
I smile upon the coming day,
first one, then two eyes beaming.
I wander in the morning rays,
God's light upon me streaming.
I feel the warmth upon my brow,
and know that it is time,
to dig, and plant, and wonder how,
God makes it so sublime.
The wonder of those little seeds
and the plants they do become,
reminders of His thoughts and deeds,
and all that he has done.
I watch things grow and never cease
to praise His might well.
The King of Kings, the Prince of Peace
in my garden dwells.
Happy August, Sharon! --Boricuaeddie 15:32, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Oh gosh...
Someone went and had a birthday and never informed me. I apologize that this is coming so late, and for that matter, for not checking July's calendar, but please accept my belated best wishes for what I hope was a mighty fine day. Yours. Bobo. 20:01, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for my slice! Keep on keeping on. Much love, The Rambling Man 21:09, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Good news!
I migrated all the comments from the first category! Just 8 more ridiculously humongous categories to go! Though, as I mentioned above, I haven't been adding links to the comment pages on the main IPNA articles section, because there's a bot-updated list. But the bot's list isn't segmented into categories, so I'm not sure whether I should still be linking to the comments or not? Take care, --Miskwito 00:30, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Mucking round with pages
Hey Sharon - if you look at Baleen whale there are some templates at the botom of the page with the v-d-e tags on them. Gotta run - chaos in the other room...bit busy off keyboard for a couple of days (thanx) :) cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 07:34, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Oh wow! A day just for me? Phaedriel, you are the greatest, and I hope the smile on my face passes for a belated birthday gift. Seeing as I probably can't come close to competing with the elaborate prose and poetry already dedicated by others to expounding your kindness, a heartfelt thank you will have to suffice. Boink echo!
Hi Sharon...LOVE the Mr. Anderson anime! I got the email from you the other day, and haven't had time to sit and write back. With the big explosion and deaths down at Scaled Composites, the past week has been a mess here. Besides, I'm like you...I have a hard time with really brief notes...when I write a letter, it takes time and lots of electrons. I've got a reply in the works, though, will have it to you before this weekend is out. In the meantime, I'm really glad all is going well with your daughter! AKRadeckiSpeaketh 00:24, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm shocked and appalled...
...at myself. I only just realised I completely failed in returning your message that came with the piece of cake (no problems, and thank you very much!) I look forward to hearing from you about your promise, I've been thinking about that recently as well, and there is absolutely no rush so you take your time and let me know your thoughts when you get the chance. One thing I will say here is that I trust your judgment a little more than my own right now :) Have a nice day, love - Zeibura (Talk) 01:35, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Yup, sent you two e-mails just now. Just confirming that they are in fact separate. Plus my Wikistress is finally starting to go down :) Wizardman 01:51, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

External link violates Wikipedia policies
Hey Phaedriel, it's me again. I just discovered a policy on Wikipedia at WP:LINKS#Restrictions on linking which states that without exception external links should not be made to websites which contain unlicensed copyrighted materials. Custerwest's blog custerwest.org includes unlicensed copyrighted materials, which I had discovered some time ago with a particular article (see Talk:Battle of Washita River/Archive 1#Custerwest's use of sources: two examples). On Custerwest's blog site, the article Black Kettle is actually a lengthy (unlicensed) excerpt of the same article by Gregory Michno at Historynet.org (see second page of article) that you deleted a copyvio a couple weeks ago.
Per the policy about restrictions on linking, Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. If you know that an external Web site is carrying a work in violation of the creator's copyright, do not link to that copy of the work. Linking to a page that illegally distributes someone else's work sheds a bad light on Wikipedia and its editors. I've already removed links to this blogsite from two articles [1] [2], but since Battle of Washita River is still fully protected, I can't removed it from there. Could you remove it? It's the second from the bottom link -- "custerwest Accounts and primary sources on the battle". Thanks. --Yksin 22:02, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
P.S. I talked with Daniel; he said RfCs should come before a formal request for mediation or arbitration. I'm busy working on 'em. --Yksin 22:02, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, were you going to respond to this, or should I try another admin?
- See also Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Custerwest and Wikipedia:Requests for comment/HanzoHattori. Still waiting for a second editor (presumably Murderbike) to certify these RfCs. Don't know if you wish to make any comments there. HanzoHattori has explained to me that comment "whatever" in a response to your offer of mediation was agreement for mediation. I told him it was kinda hard to tell, given his "whatever" took place as part of a personal attack; see Talk:Battle of Washita River#Re: informal mediation offer. Thanks. --Yksin 17:20, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: Dear Witch King! :)
I always say my first priority here is to protect the articles above everything else. However, it is good to see that there are persons like you who don't limit themselves to them, but also to the interactions between users. Thank you for your kind words, they are really appreciated. Best wishes for you and your family! -- ReyBrujo 17:42, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

A bit of help
Sorry to bother you, but would you mind taking a look at this article for me? It seems to be pretty blatant advertising, as well as poorly written. I'm merely unsure of the appropriate action to take, so I thought I'd ask you. Thanks!
On another note, I've been wanting to redesign my userpage for a while now, but I know diddly squat about HTML and coding and such. If you don't mind helping me out, leave me a message and I'll write back letting you know how I'd like it set up. Thank you very much! GlassCobra 23:03, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- Of course! Take all the time you need, I'm definitely not in any kind of hurry. Let me know when you have some spare time, okay? Thank you very much again! GlassCobra 23:59, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Battle of Washita River-related user conduct RfCs
As an administrator who has been involved with the long-term disputes about the article Battle of Washita River (which is still under full protection), I want to inform you of the two related user-conduct RfCs that have now been certified:
Thanks for your past efforts in trying to help us deal with the disputes about this article. --Yksin 20:10, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply, Phaedriel. I hope you'll get a chance to actually read & perhaps make some sort of comment on both RfCs from your level-headed perspective -- not to take any particular side, but just to give some perspective on all the events. I've been really lost in this stuff -- it's amazing how much time gets eaten up just by dealing with people's inability to get along civilly with one another. Hope your weekend goes lots better than your week did. --Yksin 23:49, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- FYI, a related article RfC has been initiated at Talk:Battle of Washita River#Request for comment. We could really use some comments from people outside the dispute. Thanks. --Yksin 02:22, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Userpage
Hi Phaedriel. I redesign my userpage. But I think I put too much work into it. Don't you think? I got that idea from Jimbo Wales userpage. His page is really nice. I have noticed one thing when I was modifying my userpage and that is Jimbo uses similar codes and border widths as you do. It also has a similar page layout. Maybe Jimbo must of copied the code from your userpage. I am not sure. Anyways check out my userpage and let me know if it needs any improvements. Ok sweetie. Evil plan #23...
Dear Phaedriel, I am deeply sorrowed to inform you that your beloved talk page has recently been taken over by the Australian cabal (we don't exist), and now follows the rule of the country of Australia. All resistance is futile, and we ask you to submit yourself without a struggle, for a conversion to Australianism. Do not underestimate our power, we have already converted the formidable administrator, Jmlk17 [3], through Giggy, and have attempted, through many influences, to convert other admins... You are the next victim to the Australian Cabal's evil plan...Seriously though, hope you recover quickly from the exhaustion...:) --DarkFalls talk 11:25, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- We? Dude, I took Jmlk17 on my own...it was tough, and I don't think I'll be able to use that nostril again, but I got him in the end. And I already got Phaedriel too: [4]. So don't you use that attitude on me, young admin. Giggy Talk | Review 00:00, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
