Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:
I have nothing to do with the user Neyoshadow, if it is because of an ip clash, i'm using a network with about 2000 other devices Ott.irshad (talk) 18:27, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You're confirmed to several other accounts via technical data. -- asilvering (talk) 04:42, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
After the blocking administrator has left a comment, do one of the following:
If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}}
with any specific rationale. If you do not edit the text after "decline=", a default reason why the request was declined will be inserted.
{{unblock reviewed|1=I have nothing to do with those other accounts, my school's private network has ≈2000 devices on it. A great majority of those devices are similar chromebooks. Again i have nothing to do with whoever these trolls in my school are. I don't vandalize anything, I'm a sane human being. All my edits are on maximum 4 different articles related to the Canadian Cadet Organization, and they are all real edits. If i can't be unblocked, could i at least see this "technical data"? I have nothing to do with Salfanto & Neyoshadow.Ott.irshad (talk)|decline={{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}
If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here
with your rationale:

- @Voorts: when an IP looks like it might belong to a school or similar institution, I'm normally fairly careful about looking for evidence that accounts are actually connected to one another beyond simply 'they're on the same IP and using the same UA'. Having said that, I don't recall the specifics of this situation, and having taken another look at the user's IPs, from what I can see within the present CU window the explanation offered is plausible. I'd be comfortable giving them the benefit of the doubt and unblocking. Girth Summit (blether) 07:15, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
