[edit]Hello, I'm Dormskirk. I noticed that you recently removed content from Hipgnosis Songs Fund without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello, OsirisGDR. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Hipgnosis Songs Fund, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Dormskirk (talk) 20:01, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Hipgnosis Songs Fund, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. [edit] Hello, I'm Quaerens-veritatem . I noticed that you recently removed content from Patrick Leonard about his marriage to Olivia d'Abo without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summaries . The edits were incorrect and apparently not researched. See, last paragraph of Leonard’s lede and Olivia d’Abo’s marriages. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. In the future it would be helpful to others and would avoid unnecessary time wasted on reviewing your edits if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. Repeated disruptive editing can result in the loss of editing privileges.
Thank you. Quaerens-veritatem (talk) 23:57, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
Another improper deletion
[edit]I'm Quaerens-veritatem . I noticed that you again removed content from Patrick Leonard about his marriage to Olivia d'Abo without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summaries . The edits were incorrect and apparently not researched. See, last paragraph of Leonard’s lede and Olivia d’Abo’s marriages. Your edits are apparently vandalism and have been reverted. Further, you have caused unnecessary time wasted on reviewing your edits since you don’t use an edit summary. Repeated disruptive editing results in the loss of editing privileges. [edit]Thanks for your contributions to Eric Hilton (musician). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and reliable sources need to be added since there are none. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CycloneYoris talk! 22:32, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
Eric Hilton (musician) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Eric Hilton (musician), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
