Disambiguation link notification for August 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of equipment of the Polish Land Forces, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Light utility vehicle. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:16, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Onesgje9g334! Your additions to Armed Forces of Haiti have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 12:21, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
May I ask where you are getting this information? There is a lot of unsourced text. (Roundish ⋆t) 02:46, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- It's from Israeli Wikipedia, but the Hebrew sources don't work here. Onesgje9g334 (talk) 02:47, 8 October 2023 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

[edit]Your edit to Guyana Defence Force has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. — Diannaa (talk) 23:16, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
Hello,
- I was mistakenly called a sock puppet. This is my main account and I have nothing to do with the person who was blocked. We don't even share the same articles or anything in common that would suggest that I'm his sock puppet.
- What can I do to prove this? Onesgje9g334 (talk) 18:34, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Every sock says it's a mistake or that they aren't one. If that worked, the sockpuppetry policy would be meaningless. Sockpuppetry doesn't require editing the same articles. 331dot (talk) 21:31, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@User:331dot And how am I supposed to prove that I have nothing to do with it and just want to do my edits? How could something like this happen? I didn't and absolutely didn't do it or share it with this account.

And how am I supposed to prove that I have nothing to do with it and just want to do my edits? How could something like this happen? I didn't and absolutely didn't have something to do with this account. I looked and the other confirmed sockpuppets hadn't even tried to prove that they didn't belong to him, why should I do that? And he just got banned the other day, how can I be a fucking sockpuppet of him? Onesgje9g334 (talk) 21:45, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You've already been told that a simple denial is insufficient. Adding swearing to the denial, doesn't make it any more convincing. Sir Sputnik (talk) 23:41, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
