Orphaned non-free image File:Dickymoe.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Dickymoe.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Your request for rollback
[edit]Hi Omkar1234. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 20:12, 27 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Please can you explain why you just posted a vandalism warning for novice editors on my talk page. First of all, it is extremely uncivil to just send generic warning templates to experienced users without explanation, and secondly the edit which you referred to in the template was actually reverting the edit which put the incorrect information in the first place (anons changing "attitude" to "altitude" is a fairly common problem in spaceflight articles and can become quite a mess if it goes unnoticed). Please can you try to be more careful in the future, remembering to assume good faith of other editors and be civil towards them. Since your edit reintroduced the factual error, I'd appreciate it if you could self-revert so it doesn't look like I'm trying to start an edit war. --W. D. Graham 14:50, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- But I think "attitude" was the wrong word. Anyways, I must have sent a wrong warning, because when I was reverting the mistake, I thought that "Factual errors" meant that the change had an error. --Omkar1234 Message me!!! 15:18, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for clearing up that it was a mistake, although since I was reverting someone else's change, you should have followed WP:BRD rather than reverting again. In the context of flight dynamics, and especially with relation to spacecraft, attitude is the correct term. It refers to the orientation of the spacecraft, not the height of its orbit. Spacecraft do not have "altitude control" systems - the only control over a spacecraft's altitude is raising or lowering its orbit if it is equipped with a propulsion system which enables this (in MCO's case the 22N thrusters mentioned earlier in the same sentence). Are you now happy if the correct term (attitude) is restored? ---W. D. Graham 16:52, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and restored the term; it's been incorrect for long enough now. Omkar, see this thread on my user talk page if you haven't already. Do you have something against people with "Graham" in their usernames? :-) Graham87 01:03, 20 September 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. I'm Himanis Das. I have noticed that some grammatical errors along with complex sentences in the Plot section of Of Feline Bondage. I have gone through it, rectified the errors making the sentences simple and understandable. But the purpose of writing this message in your talk page is, as I saw in the "Version history" that you have edited that plot before me, deleting vandalism done by an IP user, but still it seemed quite unacceptable to me as the sentences still remained in-understandable even after your edit.

[edit]So 2013 ended with many ups and downs, starting from the release of blockbuster movies, new OSs, gadgets, cars and bikes, improve in social networking etc to meeting new friends, improving our editing skills, forming new groups.
But it also brought sad movements like the death of Paul Walker, Nelson Mandela to Cyclones like Phailin, Haiyan etc.
Finally, I'd like to conclude that several ups and downs are must in every year but we must be fearless and have faith in divine.

Hello Omkar1234. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at BANDHU Group. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. ~ GB fan 14:43, 27 March 2017 (UTC)

We do all of that and more at the JavaScript WikiProject.
Scripts undergoing development, and the state of JavaScript on Wikipedia, are discussed on the talk page.
For an overview of JavaScript coverage on Wikipedia, see Draft:Outline of JavaScript and Index of JavaScript-related articles. For everything on user scripts, see User:The Transhumanist/Outline of scripts.
The WikiProject also organizes every resource it can find about JavaScript out there, such as articles, books, tutorials, etc. See our growing Reference library.
