You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Andy Odeh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Thank you for the response. There has been some difficulty with editing the name of the company. On the 11th of October, Nigeria LNG announced its name to be officially 'NLNG'. Several Attempts have been made to edit the title of the article but it isn't working. Also this is a more detailed article than that one, What would you suggest that I do as the social media handler for the company. Thank you please. Oluwakayodelucas (talk) 16:16, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dear @DoubleGrazing,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address the recent decline of my draft article on NLNG due to the existence of a similarly titled article. I would like to highlight that the company has officially changed its name to NLNG (as evidenced in its corporate communications and branding materials), and the draft I submitted reflects this update alongside comprehensive, fact-based, and encyclopedic content.
It has proven difficult to edit the title of the existing page to reflect this name change, especially as the existing article lacks some of the detailed historical and operational insights presented in the draft. Furthermore, my draft is designed to align with Wikipedia's standards of neutrality and verifiability by including authoritative references and updated data.
I respectfully request one of the following solutions:
  1. If possible, bring down the older article to prevent confusion and reflect the organization's updated name, allowing my draft to be elevated to the mainspace. This action will ensure users encounter accurate and up-to-date information.
  2. Alternatively, I would appreciate guidance or administrative support in merging content from my draft into the existing page, prioritizing accuracy and encyclopedic standards.
Your assistance in this matter will ensure Wikipedia remains a trusted resource for users seeking reliable information on NLNG. I am happy to collaborate or provide further clarifications if needed.
Thank you for your attention and support.
Best regards,

Hello Oluwakayodelucas. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Oluwakayodelucas. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Oluwakayodelucas|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:55, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for your response.
I would like to assure you that I am not in any way, directly or indirectly being paid for my edits on wikipedia. It is correct that I am an employee at the said business but my job function does not include editing or developing content on Wikipedia and any other channels. I am only writing from the point of information and hoping that while many across the world can read about the Shells and TotalEnergies of this world, they also would be able to find information about NLNG, formerly Nigeria LNG. If you still require me to disclose i am more than willing to. Oluwakayodelucas (talk) 17:16, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As an employee you are covered by our paid-editing rules, whether you are explicitly paid to edit Wikipedia or not. Please make the disclosure now, before you get yourself blocked.
Note also that you must disclose your conflict of interest (arising from this paid editing) separately for every article which you edit and to which it applies, ie. the existing Nigeria LNG article and the Draft:NLNG draft, and any others (such as the now-deleted Andy Odeh one, in case you intend to recreate that).
Furthermore, bear in mind that you must not edit such articles published in the main article space directly, but must make edit requests via the article's talk page. You may use the edit request wizard WP:ERW to make such requests. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:26, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You talked about what your management might want with regards to the article about the company(here) and you also on this page identified yourself as the "social media handler"; so either that is true and editing Wikipedia falls within your job duties, or you weren't being honest when you said that. 331dot (talk) 17:41, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Oluwakayodelucas, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Oluwakayodelucas|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Bobby Cohn (talk) 17:13, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
