Your edits to Fijian language

[edit]

Hello OBCPO1, I'm Tucoxn. Thanks for adding {{flagicon|Fiji}} — I believe it was a useful addition to the article. Thanks again for your contributions! - ʈucoxn\talk 20:59, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

2014 pro-Russian conflict in Ukraine

[edit]

"Hello, Knowledgekid87.

Yesterday (June 28) I added flags to the infobox regarding the 2014 Pro-Russian Conflict in Ukraine. Today (June 29), you removed my work, and told me to read WP:INFOBOXFLAG. Well I did read this, and it clearly states "Examples of acceptable exceptions include military conflict infobox templates..." If you have any concerns, fell free to leave me a message on my talk page. User talk:OBCPO1" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.230.159.164 (talk) 03:08, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that this article does not use a military conflict infobox, it uses a civil conflict one. If the article used a military conflict infobox then yes you would be right but that would require consensus on the talkpage to do so. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 18:42, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note

[edit]

Your edits are not following the manual of style, for example the place of birth and place of death should not be included in the first sentence (in the opening brackets) per MOS:BIRTHPLACE. Also, please stop removing Soviet Union from the infobox. Thanks. Mellk (talk) 08:40, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please also note that the consensus is not to change Kiev to Kyiv in historical contexts (up to 1991). Mellk (talk) 09:04, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for letting me know! I will fix those edits I made.

Hi OBCPO1. Thanks for improving Bohdan Nedilsky. In the infobox, "United States" should not be linked, per both MOS:OVERLINK and MOS:GEOLINK. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 22:55, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Another thing: Do you happen to know to which source the middle name "Overkovych" is cited? Of the sources in the article I looked into, none seemed to have it. Robby.is.on (talk) 22:59, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know! I won't link "United States" in the future. And I got the patronymic from his Ukrainian Wikipedia article, but seeing as it is lacking from the citations on both the Ukrainian and English languages' articles, I have removed it from the English article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OBCPO1 (talkcontribs) 18:38, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot, OBCPO1. :-) Happy editing, Robby.is.on (talk) 19:41, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding this edit, we have MOS:SMALL so those tags should not be included in the infobox. I also do not think we need the "present day" country in this case. Thanks for your attention. Mellk (talk) 10:52, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, Mellk. I won't include those anymore.

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ivan Stepanovsky, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Court music.
