Edit summaries

[edit]

Hello Norwalkctguy. When editing an article on Wikipedia, there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

An example of the edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits will be indistinguishable from vandalism and will have to be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. -- JHunterJ 11:17, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Arlington Middle School

[edit]

Arlington Middle School, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Arlington Middle School satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Arlington Middle School and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Arlington Middle School during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Arthur 17:50, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Norwalk Wiki

[edit]

Greetings, great work on Norwalk related stuff. I recently created the Norwalk Wiki for everything that would not otherwise be notable enough for Wikipedia. Its brand new, so we need to get the word out about it. I invite your correspondence. Pontiff Greg Bard (talk) 22:33, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Norwalkctguy! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 6 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Jay Reynolds - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
