Heads up
Hey Northamerica1000. Please see Template talk:Deletion debates#A garbage bin image plastered across every deletion forum is needlessly inflammatory. I've dropped a link to the thread at the village pump given that it's unlikely to have many watchers. Best regards--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 03:58, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the notification; I've provided my opinion at the discussion. NorthAmerica1000 04:27, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
- Hey again North. Since the opinion over yonder is pretty clear, I thought I might ask you to make the change "per talk page" or something like that. Though not a formal discussion that needs to be closed and where the requester is totally forbidden to implement as being involved, I try to avoid any appearance of bias, so I'd rather not implement the consensus since I was the requester – and since you were the reverter, who better?--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:18, 1 April 2014 (UTC)

In researching Red Easter eggs..
Can you determine what this Czech Easter bread is stuffed with? Looks like pork meats to me. Do we know what this bread is called? Is there an article on it? Why it is eaten at Easter? Is it Pecínek and šoldra means stuffed? Candleabracadabra (talk) 18:44, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
- Hi User:Candleabracadabra. The bottom image appears to have both sausage and ham within the bread. I need more time to potentially address your queries posted in the thread above (List of Food Trucks in New York City) and here, because I'm presently working on other stuff. NorthAmerica1000 02:25, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
- No worries and no rush. I'm just plugging through a bunch of stuff. Some of it is pretty interesting. I am going to create Pecínek now and see if Google translate comes up with something for šoldra. Good luck with your projects and thank you greatly for all your contributions and generous assistance to others! Have fun. Candleabracadabra (talk) 02:28, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
Ping User:Candleabracadabra: I have performed minor edits to the following articles (WikiProject tagging, categorization, layout, etc.):
- Clear toy candy
- Red Easter egg
- Regennas Candy Shop
- Shane Confectionery
- Pumpkin dessert
- Simple & Crisp
- Easter bread
One thing I strongly recommend is to be sure to include sources in new articles to verify content and to qualify topic notability. I noticed that some of your new creations are unsourced, which leaves them open to potential deletion, which would also erase from public view all of the work you have performed. Just some friendly advice, and thanks for your contributions to the encyclopedia. NorthAmerica1000 06:39, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
Club América Soccer Academy
Hi, you closed the Club América Soccer Academy AFD recently. A user is disregarding the outcome of that AfD. Since I started that AfD, I can't take much action here (per WP:INVOLVED), so perhaps you can take a look and do whatever's necessary (simply talking with the editor involved may be enough). Thanks. - Hi User:Fram: Thank you for the notification. I have reverted the restoration of Club América Soccer Academy and redirected it to Southern Premier Soccer League (diff). Not sure if you've seen this deletion discussion? Have you ever created any categories? I think a category of food trucks would be useful. I also think a list article of food trucks or food truck articles more broadly (not sure how that would be done? portal?) might also be useful. Enjoy your weekend and happy eating, oops I mean editing. Candleabracadabra (talk) 01:12, 6 April 2014 (UTC)

- I have added a note to the talk page explaining why I think the references, including the Daily Mail reference, do not by themselves support notability. I have taken the page to AFD. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:52, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- (ping) User:davidwr: Regarding {{old prod full}}: I'll keep this in mind, although note that it not required to do. There is no requirement at Wikipedia:Guide to deletion or Template:Proposed deletion to do so, and at Template:Old prod full it states "This is a courtesy, and also a handy record of the rationales given by the proposer, seconder (if any) and contester." One matter is the ease in which prodders can simply type in "NN", sometimes without having searched for sources as suggested at WP:BEFORE, but those that deprod after, for example, finding and adding sources to an article, still have even one more hoop to jump through. Meanwhile, some prodders are already onto the next article, prodding under "NN" while not bothering to search for sources. I'm not saying that you do this, but it's not very balanced in terms of the workload, particularly for cases as delineated in my example above. NorthAmerica1000 21:36, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

Non-admin "no consensus" closures
Hello,
A question for you based on the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oakhill Christian School AfD closure as no consensus:
I may be ill-informed as to precedent, but from what I gather aren't controversial AfD closures supposed to be left to an admin to close (i.e. almost any active debate that would end in "no consensus")?
(WP:NACD): "Close calls and controversial decisions are better left to an administrator."
(WP:NAC): "Extra care should be taken if a closure may be controversial or not clearly unambiguous. With the understanding that the closure may be reversed, non-admins should generally avoid closing such discussions."
Not trying to give you a hard time here. I've never ventured a NAC so don't know precedent (but it's true I was disappointed in the no consensus decision). --— Rhododendrites talk | 03:15, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- Hi User:Rhododendrites: I take my nac closures seriously, so thanks for your inquiry. I don't view the closure as a close call nor as controversial. In my opinion, the no consensus closure is quite clear relative to the various arguments existent within the discussion. It's not particularly a close call because while AfD is not a vote count, the keep !votes significantly outnumber the delete !votes and the arguments for the article to be retained are mostly guideline-based. However, the opinions delineated in the many delete !votes are also guideline-based, which prevents a keep closure from being appropriate in this case. Both sides in the discussion have valid points, and ultimately there is no consensus for the article to be retained or deleted. Please respond at your convenience. NorthAmerica1000 03:29, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- Going back to look at the arguments, I think your rationale seems perfectly reasonable. Thanks for taking the time to clarify. --— Rhododendrites talk | 03:39, 30 April 2014 (UTC)

Shoe size
I got myself in a muddle reverting changes, can you please revert the "Shoe size" page to include the children's comparison size image (which I use frequently) in the "Shoe size comparison" section... many thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brisbane1965 (talk • contribs) 13:40, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- User:Brisbane1965: I recommend that you stop editing the article for awhile. In the revision history for the article, you have been removing content, which I reverted, and most recently you've made many sudden changes to the article. Your edits are unclear, and at this time you should discuss your ideas on the article's talk page at Talk:Shoe size rather than continuing to use Wikipedia's page reversion functions in this unclear manner. Thanks for considering this. NorthAmerica1000 14:14, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
My apologies. I was trying to revert all changes backwards to the re-inclusion of the Children's comparison image, but I inadvertently undid some of my own revisions. I will allow you to revert the page to a stable state, and now that I watch this page I can more closely follow the individual edits and more quickly respond to inappropriate edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brisbane1965 (talk • contribs) 14:21, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- Your series of self reverts left the article at a stable version (revision 605394743). It may be better for a more experienced user to patrol this page, per the errors that you created on it when working to patrol. NorthAmerica1000 14:31, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
