  • About Filippo Mazzei; sorry for the Copyright, my tought was to change my edit about it as soon as possible, but unfortunately I couldn't there were a lot of important data in this work that I'll appreciate to see online again! "Bibliography is not copyrighted!!!"

Yes, and to match the 'English' usseage I created a short Philip Mazzei article. This is the way his name is usually referenced in American history. If copyright vio takes its usual course, the Filippo article willl be deleted in about a week. Then we can replace it with a redirect to Philip. Please, feel free to expand or improve the very short article I created at Philip. Thanks, Lou I 15:49, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Military Operations in Your Hometown

Dear Nickel, Sorry, I have no more information on the commando operations in your area. I got the stuff you saw from the official US Army in WWII (Green Book) series. (By the way can you help my Italian Unabomber page?) Paul, in Saudi 11:56, 27 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Operation_Ezra_Nehemiah.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to indicate why we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies under Wikipedia's fair use guidelines, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you want the image to be deleted, tag it as {{db-unksource}}.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.

[edit]

Hi,

I've seen you've been working a lot on political parties in San Marino. There was a marxist-leninist group taht contested elections in 1960s or 1970s. Do you know anything about it? --Soman 08:08, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if you have any info on the 'PML' listed at this website: [1]? --Soman 10:00, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Alleanza Popolare Logo.PNG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Alleanza Popolare Logo.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 18:42, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Logo Partito dei Democratici.PNG. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:PSS old logo.PNG

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:PSS old logo.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Allegations of sockpuppetry, disruptive editing

[edit]

Re: [2] no, Nickel Chromo, I am most definitely not a sock, nor am I anti-Italian, nor am I responsible for any disruptive edits, as you put it. Those edits yesterday were perfectly legitimate redirects of content forks. However, if you disagree, I will not contest the point. In future, I would be most grateful if you could bring any concerns you may have to my attention in the normal civilized fashion, rather than talking about me to somebody else. Lastly, the articles in question about Italians in Croatia and Venezuela a) are non encyclopedic; b) are irridentist propaganda pieces and c) were created by a notorious sockpuppeteer, which makes your silly allegations all the more laughable. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag.
