Speedy deletion nomination of Garrod's tetrad
A tag has been placed on Garrod's tetrad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Ironholds (talk) 18:37, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Summary
I have noticed that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited P. K. Abdu Rabb, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Muslim League (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Netha!
Hi Netha! Thanks for coordinating an event for WikiWomen's History Month! I am trying to gather information on a few things for a summary I'm writin about the month! It'd be great to know the following information, if possible:
- How many participants did the event have?
- How many new editors created accounts? (A list of editors would be awesome!)
- Is it possible that all of the article and contribution outcomes can be shared on the WWHM outcomes page?
I'll also be contacting event planners off wiki for lessons learned, successes, things one wishes they would have done differently, ways that WMF can support these events better, and so forth. Thanks again! Sarah (talk) 03:26, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
- The India WikiWomen Edit-a-Thon was held on 25th of March, 2012 from 11 30 to 14 00 IST. Eight people signed up for the event, but only four editors turned up for the event. The editors who participated in the Edit-a-thon were User: Nitika.t, User: Nicke.me, User: Karthikndr and User: Netha Hussain. The Edit-a-Thon began with the IRC hangout at 11 30 am IST where the participants introduced each other and discussed about the necessary changes to be made on the Sarojini Naidu article. No new accounts were created.
The editing was started at 12 00 IST. 1. We added about 20 references in the article. 2. we added sections and content under Naidu's early life, married life, career and famous poems. (8397 bytes of data) 3. We added pictures from Commons. The Edit-a-Thon continued till 14 00 IST. This is the event page. Netha Hussain (talk) 05:14, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for the barnstar. I have listed the outcome on WWHM page. Thanks again! Netha Hussain (talk) 05:23, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

dowry articles
Have you noticed that the dowry article has no criticism section whatsoever, but a large proportion of the Anti-dowry law in India article consists of criticism? Seems a bit lop-sided to me. Kaldari (talk) 06:03, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
- Also strange that the dowry article doesn't mention dowry death or bride burning at all. Kaldari (talk) 06:06, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Epidemiology of PE
Made a few adjustments to your edits on PE. A really good reference. But I do not see where it mentions the risk from hospitalization? This ref says they occur in 1% http://books.google.ca/books?id=kwJytSeNXyUC&pg=PA536 Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 17:44, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
References to PE article
Thank you for making appropriate changes! My copy of the 8th Edition of Robbin's Basic Pathology (ref no. 45) says,
Pulmonary embolism has an incidence of 20 to 25 per 100,000 hospitalized patients. Although the rate of pulmonary emboli (as assessed by autopsy) has declined from 6% to 2% over the last quarter century, pulmonary embolism still causes about 200,000 deaths per yer in the United States.
The reference you mentioned is good, and it deals exhaustively with the subject, so I think we should go ahead with it. I would like to see the Epidemiology section re-written for good, even if it involves moving/deleting the references I have added. And yes, I am not an expert in the subject. Happy editing! -- Netha Hussain (talk) 18:18, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

August 2012
In a recent edit to the page Leonid Rogozov, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. SpinningSpark 22:27, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for bringing this to my notice. Hereafter, I will be careful not to change words/styles of British English to American.-- Netha Hussain (talk) 03:42, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
