IMDB reverted
I am confused by the modification of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Court_Bauer concerning the IMDB being user generated as a credit. Can you clarify this please?
Thanks for clarifying Neil!
Hostile edits
Quick question- I've tried to add and clean up a page but continually am having my entries erased and edited by the same individual (Sethjohnsonct). He then attacks me in the revision history line making ridiculous claims that I'm actually the guy I'm writing on it. I have no idea why and it's becoming frustrating as well as making my wiki experience a negative one. I'm obviously not the guy (last I checked :) ) yet don't know how to resolve this by demonstrating proper citations and elaborating details and historic items for the page but then he reverts to his prior edits that I have detailed are inaccurate and false in many cases. On top of it, he is hostile. I've been editing for a bit (just recently started under an actual account) and have never had this kind of situation. I feel like it's pointless to continue contributing if he's going to aggressively yank stuff and then attack me personally.
The page is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Court_Bauer Here's the history of edits and his strange meritless allegations: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Court_Bauer&action=history

Hi Neil. Sorry to bother again but there seems to be a struggle with the same user (now using just an I.P. without username) with the same article listed above. He's not hostile but I've attempted to request he not manipulate the wording of the sources but he ignores and just undoes my edits. Not sure, maybe there is a bias towards the subject? I've tried clarify his adds to the page but he reverts them continually to fit with whatever narrative or agenda he wants, disregarding certain specifics detailed in sources. WGO Properties
Hi Neil, question for you. How can the article on Court Bauer reference WGO Properties without mentioning that there is no reference to the company online? There is no website, no articles written about the company other than Court Bauer-related articles, and the company was (according to Bauer) an Asian entertainment company that worked with several artists. You can't find anything online from any artist that will point to WGO Properties. There isn't even a reference online that will describe what the acronym WGO stands for. Also, you'd think that if such a company existed that there would at least be press releases from them with details on how they acquired MLW or perhaps details on other business ventures. A search on archive.org does not pull up anything for WGOProperties.com either.
Also, see this.
[declarationofindependents.net/doi/pages/reviews/mic_reviews/mcpinions46.html - Proof that not only was Court Bauer lying about selling MLW to WGO Properties, but that WGO Properties doesn't even exist.]
- Much of what you describe is original research which we don't accept. Generally, we can't say x didn't exist because we can't find records of x. We can say x didn't exist if a good quality source unambiguously says x didn't exist. Dear NeilN,

Unhappy with the way his case turned out on the Roger Federer page, he is engaging in increasingly vituperative exchanges with me on my talkpage. As if that weren't enough, he allges that I violated the three revert rule on the Federer page, which I did not do - but he did. I find his comportment on my own talkpage, as well as the Federer talkpage, to be inappropriate. Any advice would be most appreciated. Schpinbo (talk) 06:12, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- Both of you need to stop baiting each other and focus on article content only. If he continues to bait you then you can ask for help at WP:WQA but be aware your own edits will be scrutinized too. --NeilN talk to me 07:27, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- Dear NielN, thank you for your feedback. Regarding mutual baiting: I freely confess that my patience for TennisAnalyst004 is wearing exceptionally thin. But permit me to point out that I initiated a correspondence with him on his own talkpage, to elaborate on my rationale for the change to content on the Federer page, which he kept reverting without explanation. His responses were intemperate and rude; he has since gone on to my own talkpage to engage in increasingly vituperative and abusive flaming. I hope this can be stopped; I believe that scrutiny of my edits and responses to him will show that I am not abusing his talkpage as he is mine. My initial effort to address him on his talkpage was to speak to the substance of the issue - which in my view was an issue of language meant to clarify what was meant by "greatest ever" - and to explain why I kept inserting the wording that you and others have agreed was preferable. Permit me to suggest that his exchanges with you, as well as other users to whom he went complaining about me without merit (including a presumption that he could have me blocked), points to a similar stridency (witness his accusation that objective third parties sound like my "friends"). I simply ask that he stop polluting my page. Schpinbo (talk) 08:05, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- May I ask you to visit TennisAnalyst004's latest screed? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:TennisAnalyst004.) I have no idea whom he is addressing - admittedly he is putting this on his own talkpage now, not mine. Schpinbo (talk) 08:11, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- You're shooting yourself in the foot. You want admins to take action against TennisAnalyst004 for incivility but you call him names too. As I said before, admins will look at both your edits. --NeilN talk to me 08:16, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- Hi NielN. Yes, you are correct; I don't deny that I am. The difference is he is harrassing me on my talkpage; I am not doing the same to him, on his talkpage. Nor am I creating new sections of my talkpage with insults directed at him in the title. Neil, it seems you previously settled the drama on the Court Bauer page, but your approved version of the page has been repeatedly vandalized in the last few days. A user is clearly using multiple names/IPs to obsessively edit your approved version of the article. When he is warned, he just uses a different IP.
